I walk over to the hall of records.

Mal shouldn't have to look for files after what happened...

Inside, a woman sits at the front desk.

I walk over to her and she looks up at me.

"Good morning miss. May I get a file?" I ask politely.

The woman nods.

"What file?" She asks.

"The file on Mal." I replied.

She stared at me for a second before going into the back.

For about two minuets I stand awkwardly at the desk.

How long does it take to find a file?

She comes back with a purple binder.

"You will need to have this back by the end of the week." The woman advises.

I thank her and walk out of the building, and to Mal.

.....

When I knocked on the door, Mal answered.

"Oh. Hey Ben." She says a little sleepily.

She just woke up.

The only difference now is she is in a knee length purple dress.

Wow.

"Um. I got your file." I say hold the binder.

She stares at it.

"Thank you Ben. Come in." Mal says stepping to the side.

I walk in and she closes the door.

"So, let read through this." She says.

We walk into the kitchen and sit down at the small table.

As we go through it, most things are things we already know.

Until a birth paper shows up.

Mal takes it out and examines it closely.

"Wait, there is no information on my father." Mal says disappointedly.

I take it next.

Where is he then?

We look through most of the rest of the binder, until we see one thing we didn't expect.

It was an old article.
