(Angel's POV)

I wake up to the sound of the door closing.

I open my eyes slowly and rub the sleep out of them.

"Good Morning, Angel. Here's your breakfast." The nurse says.

She puts the tray on the table and leaves.

I look next to me to find him sleeping on the couch. I look at the other side, the blood bag is empty.

"Good morning." I hear him say.

"Good morning." I smile.

He looks a lot like Ellie right now, I just want to hug him.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Oh, it's just that you look a lot like El- someone I miss a lot." I say.

"An old boyfriend?" He asks raising his eyebrow.

I shake my head.

"Not even a boy." I say.

"Oh." He says.

There's a knock on the door and the nurse enters.

She checks the IV and everything then she removes it.

"I got you breakfast too." She says and throws Damon a blood bag.

"Thanks." He says and winks at her.

"You're free to leave today." She tells me then leaves.

"She likes you." I say.

"What?" He asks.

"Don't you see the way she was looking at you. She's got something for you."

"Well, how can she resist this." He says and shows off his biceps.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"What else can't she resist?" I ask.

"Some girls just can't resist my good looks," he says pointing at his face, "my style," he says motioning at his clothes, "my charm," he smiles, "and my unflinching ability to listen to Taylor Swift."

"You listen to Taylor Swift?" I ask sitting up quickly.

He then takes out his phone.

"Any requests?" He asks and sits on the chair next to the bed.

I take the phone from him and scroll through the playlist.

"Adele?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"Just one song."

I click it and only one song is there.

"Skyfall?"

He nods.

"Eat then we can discuss my music style over tonight's dinner."

I feel a smile grow on my lips.

Why are you happy? You're supposed to be ignoring him! If he finds out about Ellie, he might take her away!

That's a big IF. I won't tell him.

I begin to eat while he pours a few drops of blood into a silver flask.

I raise my eyebrow and look at him.

"It's Bourbon."

"A day drinker?" I ask.

"No. A 24/7 drinker but, I don't get drunk easily." He says.

"So, like myself two years ago. We have a lot in common, Salvatore."
