Shawn couldn't stop thinking about the song lyrics that he kept writing down. They were all about some girl and he didn't know where he got this muse.

He hasn't dated a girl since his first year in high school, and he's in his last year of high school. He hasn't even had any feelings for anyone either.

It was all just strange.

He couldn't think about it though because Cameron and Nash were walking over to where he was sitting on the bleachers.

"Hey bro, you ready?" Cameron asked walking up in front of Shawn

"Yep" Shawn said standing up and throwing his bag over his shoulder

"So do you know what we're doing tonight?' Nash asked walking on the other side of Cameron

"No idea Aaron said it was going to be a surprise" Shawn shrugged

"Well that's scary" Cameron laughed making Nash stare at him fondly and Shawn roll his eyes at Nash's obviousness and Cameron's obliviousness.

Every Friday the boys hang out together if they can, sometimes there is family or they go on a date, but usually every Friday they hang out. It switches from hanging out at one of the boy's houses or one of the boys planning something for them to do.

"My boys! Ready to go?" Jack G asked happily standing up from where he was sitting on the steps with Jack J.

"Where are we going exactly?" Nash asked

"Aaron just told us to come to his house and we would find out" Jack J shrugged

"Well that sounds dangerous" Cameron laughed. They laughed as they walked to Aaron's house and tried to guess what Aaron was planning. It was pretty late because the boys had basketball practice and the other boys waiting for them. Matt skipped practice saying he wasn't feeling well to go disappear with Aaron.

When the boys finally got to the house it looked pretty normal until they walked in the house.

"You're throwing a freaking party?" Shawn asked slightly annoyed but mostly shocked

"Hell yeah we are!" Aaron cheered coming to the living room were standing.

"Well this should be fun" Cameron smirked

~~~~~~
It wasn't fun.
Almost everyone in their grade were there and the house was so crowded there was nowhere to stand without running into someone. There were so many drunken, stumbling teenagers trying to find something to do. There were couples grinding on the dance floor and a bunch of half-naked girls twerking.
Shawn isn't the most social person in the world so of course he was uncomfortable and trying to find someplace quiet and isolated.
He somehow stumbled into the kitchen, which was relatively quiet and empty, considering the alcohol was in the dining room. He looked around and saw Cameron walking to the girl from the gym.
He slowly walked over and Cameron looked over and smiled at Shawn.
"Hi Shawny boy how are you doing?" Cameron asked making the girl look up and Shawn and get wide eyed
"Other than the fact I don't want to be here I'm good" Shawn shrugged
"Oh come on Shawny cut loose and have some fun" Cameron did a little dance making the girl laugh but cover her mouth when she realized she laughed out loud. That made Shawn smile at her before catching himself and looking back at Cameron.
"Cameron!" Nash slurred stumbling over and falling against Cameron
"Hey babe, how much have you had to drink?" Cameron smiled at Nash
"Like two or three, or maybe four, I think it was actually five." Nash said confused before giggling
"So that means six?"
"Yeah" Nash giggled resting his forehead on Cameron's shoulder
"Well then we should probably get you some place where we can sit down" Cameron ran his fingertips on Nash's back gently making him shiver
"There's an empty bedroom upstairs" Nash tried to whisper seductively but ended up slurring his words together
"Ok baby we can go there" Cameron chuckled putting an arm around Nash's waist to support him while Nash stumbled. They walked away leaving Shawn and the girl in an awkward silence.
"They're really cute together" the girl commented watching as Nash giggled as something Cameron said and Cameron looked down at him fondly
"Oh they're not together" Shawn said looking at the two as well
"Really?" she asked shocked looking up at Shawn because he was taller
"Yeah, Nash has a huge crush though" he nodded looking down at into her hazel eyes
"I can see that" she smiled looking back at Nash and Cameron who were at the stairs
"Where were you and Cameron talking about?" Shawn asked
"Um I don't drink so he asked why I was standing alone and I told him my friend dragged me here and we just talked about other stuff" she shrugged swirling her drink around "He got me a water too. He's a nice guy, not many of those around anymore"
"Well you're not wrong" Shawn chuckled "You know I never got your name"
"I'm Rose" she smiled holding her hand out
"I'm Shawn" he took her hand shaking it gently
"Well Shawn how are-" Rose started but got cut off by a drunken girl stumbling in the room
"Rooooosssssiieeee" the girl, who Shawn recognized as the girl who was talking to Aaron and was going on a date tomorrow, stumbled into the room
"Um hey Jessica" Rose said glancing at Shawn before walking forward and catching a very drunk Jessica
"Hey bae how are you? You know you should get a drink, cause being sober is no fun. You know what I need, I need another drink. Because I am having sooooo much fun, do you know where Aaron is? I want to know where Aaron is. Aaron is so hot and his muscles are so hot and I want to just lic- mmph" Jessica stopped rambling as Rose put a hand over her mouth blushing as she looked back at Shawn
"Hey why don't we go get you someplace to lay down" Rose suggested
"No" Jessica pouted "I want to go find Aaron and go make out" Jessica said getting out of Rose's grip and running out of the kitchen
"I should probably go get her" Rose said looking at where Jessica just left but grabbed her drink leaning against the counter next to Shawn
"You don't seem really eager to help her" Shawn chuckled
"I'm not, she was the one who dragged me here and left me she can handle herself" Rose shrugged taking a sip of her drink
"Yeah well I'm glad that you didn't" Shawn smiled looking down at her and she looked back up at him and smiled. Little did they know that those smiles were the start of something magical.
