LAUREN POV

I woke up to find Camila still asleep next to me, she was so still and she looked so peaceful.

I decided to get up before our parents came in and saw me sleeping next to Camila and I don't really want to be questioned.

"Camila" I whispered and shook her arm for her to wake up

"Camz baby wake up" I shook a little harder...

She wouldn't wake up, god this girl could sleep.

"Camila, come on wake-" I stopped talking and thats when I realised...

She wasn't breathing.

Fuck... Shit... "DAD, SINU!" I shouted as loud as I possibly could, they both came running in

"Shes..  She not waking up... Shes not breathing" I managed to get out before the lump in the back of my throat exploded and I started to cry

"Mike call an ambulance" Sinu shouted and ran over to her daughter who was still lying so still

The ambulance arrived in less than 5 minutes and we all got in the back with Camila.

The people in the ambulance were saying all these medical words that I didn't understand but from the look on their faces I didn't want to understand.

"Is she gonna die?" I asked one of the nurses "we don't know yet sweetie"

THEY DONT KNOW YET? YET!?

My heart fell to the floor and I couldn't stop myself from crying

"She cant.. She cant... Die" I spoke between breaths as it was hard to speak because I was crying so much.

"We just have to stay positive" my dad told both me and Sinu who was also crying and holding her Daughters hand

"Mija please wake up, don't leave us" she spoke to her daughter awaiting a response but she got nothing which made her cry more.

Once we got to the hospital they rushed Camila into surgery, we were not allowed in but the nurses kept coming out to give us updates.

The first update was she was breathing again but her heart was weak

The next update was that she was lacking some type of cell thing i don't know and that she will be a few more hours until they know what exactly is wrong with her

Me, Sinu and my dad sat and waited almost 8 hours and it was killing, my dad kept telling Sinu to be positive and stay strong but she couldn't and neither could I, I just wanted to be in there with her next to her holding her hand.

An hour passed and the surgery doors opened and two nurses came our way

"You're daughter is in a coma" they told her and Sinu turned to My dad and hugged him tight and screamed into his chest, she was heart broken.

"How long will she be in it for?" i asked

"Well it was caused by her intake of alcohol, but something was in her drink that made her system shut down" the nurse told us

"But she will be okay.. Wont she?" I asked hopefully

"She is okay right now, but we cant promise you she will be" they told us honestly

My heart shattered! I just wanted to hold her and tell her I love her again.

"Are we allowed to see her?" My dad spoke up and the nurses nodded and pointed us in the direction of the room she was in.

I took it upon myself to text Dinah and Kyle and let them know about Camila.

Dinah wasn't taking it too well and neither was Kyle, they were both on the phone to me sobbing and I told them that they could come and see her sometime tomorrow.

I made my way to the room that Camila was in and I broke down crying

She was connected to all these wires and machines... It was horrible.

Her face was pale, she looked dead, the only thing convincing me she wasn't was the heart monitor and her steady heart beat.

Sinu sat down next to Camila and kissed her forehead

"Mija, if you can here me, please wake up! This family needs you, we all need you Mija" she said I could feel the hurt in her voice

"Camila, hey its Mike. Hey sweetie, we need you back okay, I know i'm not your dad and I never replace him but I love you and i'm here for you, please just wake up.. For us" my dad held Camilas hand and squeezed it tight hoping for a response.. But none.

My dad and Sinu turned to look at me who was still crying "Dear would you like to say anything to your sister?" Sinu asked and I nodded my head

"Should we give you some space" My dad asked and Again I nodded my head

They both nodded "We will be back in 5 minutes" Sinu said and they both left the room

I made my way over to the bed Camila was lying in and sat down next to her

I could hardly look at her, she didn't look like the Camila I knew and that scared me.

"Camz" I spoke up

"Camz I...I... Just please come back to me" I whispered trying to stop the tears from falling

"If you can hear me... Just do something..." I waited for a few seconds

"Anything..." I said and placed my hands in my head and sobbed, I couldn't stop!

Seeing her like this, so helpless so... Dead was too much pain to take in, it broke my heart.

Seeing her last night and seeing her so normal and so... Alive made me smile, I remember the last words we spoke to each other before falling asleep...

I love you.

I did love her. More than love

She meant everything to me and I wouldn't let no one or nothing hurt her... Expect this... I couldn't help her, I wanted to but I just couldn't, knowing that I couldn't be her hero this time broke me

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you" I whispered and placed my hand on her hand

"I love you Camila" I whispered in her ear and kissed her lips gently.

The heart monitor changed, her heart beat changed.. It was a little faster than before, thats when I knew...

I knew she was okay.

Short chapter but yeah! Chapter 14 done.
