|28.| I Noticed You- Shiota Nagisa X Kitsune!Reader

Forgive me for Nagisa's OOCness. Also, this might be short sooo sorry for that too.

You were up a branch and wagging your tail while watching Nagisa practice his knifework with Karasuma. You weren't stalking Nagisa or anything, you just became fond of him and admired him.

Your hands cupped your cheeks as you were thinking how cool he was focusing his attacks on the blind spots of Karasuma, leaving some tingly feelings in your stomach.

You sighed, "Why can't I be a normal human? Without a tail, without long nails, without these ears. Without these, I'd be able to hang out with friends and go to school and wear actual school uniforms rather than a yukata."

Your eyes followed Nagisa's movements, "Maybe, I could even find somebody who'd love me..."

You sighed once more and curled your lips a bit, making a small smile, "As if that would happen."

Nagisa went to his group and glanced at your spot, almost noticing your tail, "Hm?"

You quickly hid behind the tree, "What's wrong Nagisa?" Kayano asked him and turned to where he was facing.

Nagisa smiled, "I-It's nothing."

You held your mouth to keep quiet, and peeked if he was still looking at your direction. He wasn't looking anymore but you didn't want to risk the chance of getting caught, so you fled.

You fled to the pool and sat beside it and started playing with the fishes.

"You probably don't like seeing water and rocks all the time do you?" You asked the fishes and dipped your finger in the water causing them to swim away.

Hearing something, you quickly ran away and hid behind the bushes. You waited for a while, only to see a frog pop out.

Sighing, you went back and did your business as usual.

The following day, you went back to your tree and waited for Nagisa to arrive.

You watched him quietly and moved your place to a tree that was farther to avoid incidents like what almost happened yesterday.

You'd often see Nagisa spacing out, which worried you.

Recently, you'd feel as if you were being followed. But once you would sense it, the presence you felt would fade.

You went back watching Nagisa and his friends when you saw Nagisa wasn't there anymore.

You were getting bored when your other fox friend approached you, "Watching the humans again?" She asked.

You hummed in reply making her sigh, "Look, I know you have your eye on somebody, but you know very well..." Her voice faltered causing you to get irritated.

"Tch." You said and left.

You ran to the pool to watch the fishes again, hoping to get some food, but before you could hunt, you saw Nagisa sitting down on a rock also watching the fishes.

Startled, you tried to flee but made some noise, causing Nagisa to glance up.

"I know you're there." Nagisa said and stood up.

You stopped your tracks, "Can you come out?" He asked.

You approached him making yourself visible but stayed behind the bushes.

Nagisa's face lightened up, "Hello."

"Hello." You replied.

"S-Say, have you been watching me? I kinda feel your presence sometimes. I noticed actually." Nagisa said.

You were shocked but kept a stoic face, "I have."

"Okay, just making sure." He smiled.

"Actually, I tried to observe you too, you know, since I noticed you and I was curious." He said while scratching the nape of his neck, "May I ask your name?" He asked.

"It's (F/N)" You said immediately.

"Well, I suppose you already know mine, but I'm Shiota Nagisa." He said while smiling awkwardly.

"Yes I know." You said, slightly smiling.

"S-So, can I ask why you watch me?" He asked.

You thought about it for a second. Why exactly? Everytime you watch him, it makes you happy. When you can't see him, you'd get the thought, 'I want to see him.'

But it never occured to you why. After thinking about it, you hadn't realized how dense you were. You wanted somebody to love you but you haven't noticed that you've fallen in love already.

A smile crept your lips, "Because, I think I've fallen in love with you."

But that's not why I haven't updated as early as how I usually update.
