Shade's POV
Driving my brother to school on the first day is such a pain. He has his own motorcycle so why can't he just drive himself! Just look at him, *stares at Shadow in the Passenger seat* He doesn't even care about school right now! "You nervous?" I said to him. "I don't know, you tell me......" He said to me. "Ugh, you know, I don't like reading your mind. It's just weird." I said. "Fine......I'm not nervous but I am hoping that I'll actually keep a girl friend this time........" He said. "Well you shouldn't flirt with other girls behind Rouge's back" I said. "I WASN'T FLIRTING WITH THEM, THEY WERE FLIRTING WITH ME!!!! *Sigh* I wish Rouge would have understood that........." He said
I pulled up to the school and parked and got out with my book bag. "Well best of luck to ya" I said as Shadow got his things and got out of the car. "Yeah, thanks........" Just then a group of girls ran up to me squealing. "Oh my gosh Shade, your car is amazing!" One of the girls said. "Thanks, its a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento" I said as I looked at Shadow. He snarled and walked away
Shadow's POV
There's no surprise there, girls love guys with cool cars. Just then a girl walked up to me. "Ummm excuse me, I'm new here and I was wondering if you can show me to room 210?" The girl said. "Umm sure, right this way. I'm Shadow by the way." I said. "Nice to meet you Shadow, I'm Naomi!" She said. We walked to room 210. "Are you a Junior?" I asked. "Nope, I'm a Sophomore, I was a Freshmen in my old school" She replied" We arrived at room 210 and she said, "It was nice meeting you, Shadow!" "Yeah, I'll see you later" I said. She walked into the classroom and I was so dazed I forgot what I was doing. I looked at my watched to see how much time I had left. I had one minute until the bell rang so I quickly sped off.
Sonic's POV
I sat down at my desk at the back of the room but only seeing that Amy was at the front. It has been two years since I liked her and its time to tell her how I feel. I was about to get up but then the bell rang. Dang it! Hopefully we have the same lunch period so I can tell her then. Suddenly Shadow bursted through the doorway. "Shadow, you're late" The teacher said. "I know, I got caught up with..........things" He said. "Well go take a seat by Sonic, you're lucky that its the first day, if it wasn't I could have gave you detention" The teacher said. Shadow sat down next to me. "Why were you late, faker?" I whispered to him. "None of your damn business!" He whispered back. I smiled and faced forward to hear the teacher.
