Wholesome Moments (Eyeless Jack X Reader)

"N-no! Stop it! I mean it!"

You hadn't anticipated that Eyeless Jack, of all people, would be tickling you for any reason.

"Gimme your kidneys!"

He playfully yelled as he tickled the spot where your kidneys were located. You weren't usually very ticklish but surprisingly he had found a ticklish spot.

"No! You can't have them; I need them EJ!"

He chuckled softly, hearing your whining and giggling, and stopped tickling you. You breathed a sigh of relief and sat up on the couch.

"You're a weirdo, EJ," he smiled underneath his mask.

"Last I checked, you're not too normal yourself."

The smile was evident in his voice as he replied. You rolled your eyes, smiling to his clever response, and got up. You then peak at the sliding glass door, leading to the backyard, and notice it was getting quite dark outside.

"Looks like its getting late-," you turn your attention back to Eyeless Jack. "-wanna make a bonfire and roast smores?"

"Only if I can roast some kidneys too."

Once the two of you set up the mini bonfire in the backyard, you grabbed two sticks and handed one to Eyeless Jack. He dug his hand into the bag of marshmallows and plucked one out, soon stabbing it with the stick. You did the same as he placed it over the fire. You couldn't help but stare at flames almost engulfing Eyeless Jack's fluffy treat.

"So, (Y/N)...does it bother you that I'm killer canible?"

You sighed. Haven't you guys gone over this before tons of times already? You glanced at him.

"Does it look like I'm bothered by your presence?" You replied, half smiling, as you turned your attention back to the fire.

EJ silently pulled back his marshmallow and blew on it softly. He turned his head slightly toward you as he got ready to reply. Your (H/C), (H/T) hair flowed softly with the breeze as you concentrated on your marshmallow, causing EJ to blush under mask and not say anything else.
You and Eyeless Jack had eaten a couple smores and now the two of you sat near the fire in silence, well, until EJ broke it.

"(Y/N)?"

You turn your head to him and your eyes rest on his form.

"Hm? What's up, EJ?"

He then removed his mask and looked you.

"Can I...kiss you...?"

He nervously asks as you blushed. Did he just ask you to kiss him? Were the smores getting to you already? You gulped softly.

"E-EJ, what did you say?"

You wanted to make sure what you heard is what he had said. He seemed discouraged, which was written all over the expression he wore on his face, by your response.

"N-never mind...Forget I said anything-"

"-No no, EJ! I just wasn't sure of what you said! I'm sorry," you immediately replied as you smiled an apologetic smile at him.

He looked up slightly from the pieces of grass he picked at. You couldn't help but notice how cute he appeared right now, beside the fact he's a humanoid killer canible. You giggle softly and cup his face into your hands, the black substance secreting from his eyes rolled down your hand. He lifted his head up and looked at you as his dark eye sockets widen. You lean in and peck his nose softly, the warmth of his cheeks became evident as you held his face.

"Y'know you look cool and mysterious with that mask, but-" you kiss his forehead.

"-I like you better without the mask."

He slowly starts to smile a small smile, his sharp teeth exposed to your eyes only. He then pulled you in and hugged you, his forehead pressed to yours.

"Can we roast those kidneys now, (Y/N)?"
