Prompt: Lauren gives Camila a surfing lesson.

"You're not nervous. You're not nervous. It's just a surfing lesson with a really, really hot instructor." Camila mumbled to herself as she walked through the sand, wringing her hands. "Don't worry, everything will be fine. Everything will work out."

The girl sucked in a calming breath before raising her gaze and feeling her breath catch as she caught sight of Lauren standing a few feet away sweeping her hair into a ponytail, wearing a light blue bikini that left Camila panting as she attempted to calm herself down, her heart racing like a galloping horse in her chest.

But a layer of disappointment fell upon the brunette as she glanced over to see Dinah sliding on a wetsuit, chattering away to Lauren who threw her head back and laughed. Clearing her throat, Camila straightened her shoulders before making her way towards her surfing instructor listening to the tail-end of their conversation.

"Hey, you made it!" Lauren beamed once she caught sight of Camila, her eyes dancing along the girl's form in her plain black bikini. "I wasn't sure you were going to come, you didn't seem so enthused about the idea of learning yesterday."

"Lauren has been freaking out, she thought you didn't like her or something. Girl is crazy, am I right?" Dinah scoffed, winking playfully at Camila before grabbing her board. "Excuse me, dawgs, I'm gonna go ride some waves before they die down."

Lauren watched her best friend go before rolling her eyes and turning back to Camila, "She has no filter. I wasn't really worried that you didn't like me, I was just afraid that your friends were pushing you into something you didn't want to do."

"No, no. I want to learn. I'm excited." Camila assured her with a wave of her hand, glancing nervously at the surf board. "You'll just have to be patient with me, I'm not amazing at learning new things. It takes me a while."

"Well, we have all the time in the world." Lauren assured her, setting a hand on Camila's bicep before nodding towards the board. "The first thing we need to work on is your form, we need to make sure you stand right.

Camila nodded slowly as she listened to Lauren talk, the brunette leading her over to the surf board and helping her stand correctly, the younger girl drifting into her thoughts as she felt Lauren's hands settling on her waist, manipulating her movements and pushing her hips in different ways as she spoke quietly in her ear.

A fire burned in the pit of Camila's stomach as her eyes fluttered shut before the sound of her name being called caused her to gasp as she glanced over to see Lauren staring at her with a furrowed brow as she frowned slightly and tilted her head, the younger brunette clearing her throat as she ducked her head.

"You okay?"

"Uh yeah, just trying to...soak everything in." Camila blushed before Lauren chuckled and walked over to the side, grabbing a wetsuit and tossing it to Camila who sighed heavily before pulling the material onto her body. "Is the fun starting?"

"You could say that. I just want you to kind of get a feel of the water before you do any major wave riding." Lauren explained as she zipped herself into a wetsuit, smiling over at Camila who nodded slowly. "Don't be nervous, okay?"

"I don't know, it's kinda scary." Camila whispered as she watched the way Dinah manipulated the waves so easily, gliding over them as if it was solid ground. "The ocean is huge, and I'm just this teeny tiny person taking it on."

"Well, not all of you is tiny."

Camila furrowed her brow in confusion before glancing over her shoulder to see Lauren not even bothering to hide the fact that she was staring at the younger girl's butt, her lips turned in a sexy smirk that made Camila twitch before laughing nervously as she rubbed a hand over the back of her head and blushed.

"Don't worry, Camz. The best part of being out on the waves is knowing that it's just you and the ocean, it's soothing. Once you get a hang of it, you'll understand what I mean." Lauren assured her, grabbing her surfboard.

The fifteen-year-old simply nodded before grabbing the board that Lauren was loaning to her, trailing the older girl out into the water and wincing as the coldness brushed over her body before she was waist deep and she copied Lauren as she moved to straddle the board, bracing her hands in front of herself.

"Alright, just do as I showed you, but don't try anything if you're not comfortable with it." Lauren called, the waves crashing loudly against the shore as she laid on her stomach and began to paddle towards on oncoming wave. "Come on, Camz!"

Camila looked fearfully at the wave and closed her eyes for a moment, replaying Lauren's words about being by herself in the water and with a loud sigh she laid down and began to paddle towards the large gulf of water heading towards her; a brief fear ripped through her and she squeezed her eyes shut.

Standing, Camila focused on balancing herself as she felt the wave sweep her away and her eyes shot open in surprise as she beamed brightly and wobbled slightly on the board before turning her head to look at Lauren who was easily skipping along the water, a relaxed expression on her face as she moved gracefully.

The ride only lasted a good five seconds, but a jolt of happiness shocked Camila's heart as the wave swept her off her board and she fell into the water. Laughter left her mouth as she bobbed up from the salty water, her eyes bright as she looked to Lauren who was eagerly paddling over with a beam on her face.

The two quickly and carefully set towards the sand, Camila buzzing with excitement as she finally reached land and unstrapped herself from her surfboard before jumping up and down in happiness; she couldn't believe that she had managed to ride a wave on her first try, she couldn't wait to tell Normani and Ally.

"Camz, that was awesome!" Lauren cheered as she wrapped her arms around the girl, spinning her around as she listened to the younger girl's giggles echoing in her ear. "You...I'm so impressed, Camila. You are a natural."

"I think it's because of you, you're an amazing teacher." Camila smiled, Lauren setting her down as the two stare at each other with smiles on their faces, both lost in each other. "Look, Lauren, the truth is...I like you. Like a lot. Like, I've been stalking you for weeks."

"I know, Camz."

"Wait, what?"

"I've kinda been stalking you too." Lauren confessed with a shrug of her shoulders. "You're really, really cute and when I noticed you a couple of weeks ago I started coming here more often. I've been terrified to approach you though."

"Why?"

"I dunno." Lauren shrugged with a light blush before looking into brown eyes that sparkled, her lips turning into a light smile as she sighed. "But, now that I've met you, I want to know more about you...will you go on a date with me?"

"Yes, Lauren." Camila nodded as she wrapped her arms around the taller girl's neck watching as a bright beam lit up the girl's face before she leaned down to brush a kiss along Camila's cheek. "How about we surf some more?"

"After you, m'lady." Lauren smiled.
