Maddie's POV
After what seemed like about half an hour or so of performing, it was finally time for the boys to do costume changes so they could get ready for the encore. They all rushed backstage running to chose a new outfit, and as I saw them coming by to the dressing room, I unfortunately saw exactly what I didn't want to see.
Harry was walking behind the boys being supported by Liam's arm. Just by looking at Harry under the lights, I could see the amount of sweat matted to his face and some of his curls were literally soaking wet from all of it. I knew Harry wanted to please the fans, but this time he'd really overdone it big time. I couldn't let my poor boyfriend continue like this for the rest of the concert.
"Poor thing was exhausted. I don't know how he does it." Liam said, rubbing Harry's back along the side as he brought his shaken up frame to me.
As soon as Liam released Harry's arm, Harry walked a couple of steps to me, with a pout evident on his lips.
"Mads I really don't feel well." he said, leaning into me now and resting his sweat matted head on my shoulder. I engulfed him into a hug and rubbed his back soothingly in order to calm him down a bit but also in order to make his ache better.
"Here let's sit you down. I don't want you to stand in this poor condition." I said calmly leading him to a chair in the dressing room. Once I walked into the dressing room, I saw a medium sized couch at the side, and I quickly led Harry to it in hope that he could rest.
Harry was supposed to be getting his hair redone, but I wasn't even sure if he'd be returning on stage considering he was feeling so bad. I've never had him looking so needy for some rest in all my life and right now, things for the reunion weren't looking that great. He looked like he hadn't fallen asleep in weeks and it made me worried because I didn't want him to get too weak and faint.
I knew he was feeling dreadful because he was obviously sweating out buckets but I didn't actually know if he got any new symptoms while he was performing during the concert. The only way I would be able to find out is to ask him.
"What are you feeling babe? What hurts?" I asked, sitting beside him and bringing his head into my chest. He breathed heavily against my chest, leaving cold shivers going down my spine and murmured something under his breath so very quietly. It was so quiet, I had to ask him to repeat it.
"Sorry babe, what was that?" I asked again, still letting him lean into me.
"I'm feeling kinda nauseous." he said, rubbing his stomach. I could hear the stress in his voice as he tried to calm himself down.
"Anything else?" I asked. Harry then switched positions and now put his head on my lap, leaning his feet off of the couch and continued to speak to me.
"And my stomach hurts. Feeling really hot too, and as if you couldn't tell and I have a headache on top of that so that makes everything even worse to deal with." he said, and as he finished talking I felt a wet drop soak through my pants then reaching my knee. The poor thing had tears in his eyes, and he did have a pale reflection that looked quite flushed. He really wasn't feeling that well at all.
I continued to caress the boys back just letting him have a couple of minutes in peace until I heard a soft knock on the door. Harry gave me the OK to open the door, so I raised his head off of my thighs and walked to open up the door.
"Hey, um we wanted to see if Harry was going to finish the show. We have ten minutes until we have to go out and Lou and Caroline need to fix him up if he's coming out to perform the rest with us." Niall said.
"Only if he feels well enough though, cause we all know how it feels when you're kind of...... in knots from something that didn't go down right." Zayn said scratching his hair awkwardly making Niall laugh as he trailed off.
