Harry's P.O.V.
Me and the visitors are walking to the Great Hall for dinner. Others who passed by us pointed at Annabeth then started whispering.
Annabeth, who clearly had enough of the whispering and staring, glared at them then threatened to grab her dagger. The students immediately scampered away like scared rats.
" What's with all the whispering?! Haven't they saw a dagger before?" she said, irritated. Percy just smiled then patted her back amusedly.
" First, you don't wear robes." Ron said.
" Second, Professor McGonagall seemed excited to see all of you, which is rare." Ginny added.
" And finally, Malfoy's spell didn't work on you." Hermione explained.
" That pretty much sums up everything." I said, " You can't blame them, though. How did you do that, really?"
They stared at each other then chorused, " Well, as much as we want to tell you, Professor McGonagall forbidden us to tell you yet. So, just wait for tomorrow."
We groaned then sighed. Well, we might learn to be patient for a little bit, " Argh, I hate waiting!" Ron complained.
Percy laughed then said, " I completely understand. Come on, I'm hungry already!"
We all giggled while walking. After a few minutes, we finally arrived at the Great Hall. We led them toward the Gryffindor table. The other Gryffindors greeted them and asked them if the Malfoy incident is true.
Annabeth looked exasperated that we laughed. " Come on guys. Give her a break. Everyone has been whispering and staring at her." I said, taking pity on her. When I first came here, I was on the same predicament as hers.
" Yup, if you don't stop it. She might take her anger out on you.." Percy said half joking and half serious which made them immediately change the conversation.
" Where are you from, anyway?" Lavender said, smiling at them.
" New York..." Nico answered.
" Must be a hard flight... You know, sitting on a horse for 8 hours!" Parvati noted.
" Well, it IS a hard flight, especially when everyone of your companions keeps asking for a break." Percy said, laughing.
" Where did you get a pegasus anyway? Hermione said they're just myths." Neville said curiously, staring at them.
They looked at each other meaningfully, obviously uncomfortable with Dean's question.
" Professor McGonagall said not to tell us yet." I said to take the attention away from them which earned me a few grateful looks.
' Ahh, Professor is such a killjoy.." Dean muttered.
As if on cue, Professor McGonagall stood up then said, " To some of you who don't know, we have some visitors today. They will stay here for a month. So please behave yourselves. They will be staying in the Gryffindor common room. That's all and a wonderful evening to all of you."
Suddenly, mountains of food appeared in our plates. I smirked at the " WOW!!! AWSOME!!" looks in the visitors' faces. After a few seconds, they seemed to get off their shock which surprised me once again. What did they see to make them unsurprised about some things?
When they have filled their plates, they looked at each other then ate timidly. Suddenly, the sky starts rumbling. We looked up surprised, except for the visitors. They were murmuring something that sounded like " Sorry. We can't."
Thunders rumbled, making them sigh. They stood up which confused all us in the Hall. They walked to Professor McGonagall and whispered something. She seemed surprised but nodded understandably. We gryffindors looked at each other.
What are they up to?
Percy's P.O.V.
Dozens of different varieties of food appeared in front of us. We quickly filled our plates then looked at each other, all thinking the same thing.
How will we offer to the Gods?
We shrugged then ate timidly. The sky starts rumbling making the wizards perk up. We muttered to the Gods, " Sorry, we can't". But the thunders didn't stop. We sighed then walked to the Headmistress, carrying our plates.
I walked to her then whispered, " Excuse us Professor, can we have a hearth or a fire of some sort. We need to make an offering to the Gods."
Professor McGonagall nodded understandably, finally realizing the cause of the rumbling. " Okay, hold on a second." She took out her wand then mumbled something unrecognizable to me, A hearth formed with an invisible barrier to block out the flames.
The nearby students jumped, even though they cannot be reached.
" Thanks, Headmistress." Annabeth said.
We gave our offerings. Mine to Poseidon of course and to Hestia, too. As usual, I receive that beautiful sea breeze that I love. I waited for the others then walked with them to the Gryffindor table. The thunder stops, making them confused. All of the students are staring at us.
" Why did you burn the food? That's wasting!" Ron exclaimed. Obviously, he's a food lover like me...
Professor McGonagall answered for me, " You may be curious about what they just did. Well, it's a kind of traditon for them in the place they were brought up to." she said mysteriously.
They nodded but I could see they were still confused. We talked to the other Gryffindor students and I found out that there are 4 house. Gryffindor for the brave, Ravenclaw for the smart, Hupplepuff for the humble and Slytherin for the sly. Annabeth took particular interest to the ceiling which shows Mt. Olympus.
Hermione explained that it is bewitched to look like the sky outside and to mirror the weather without any of the negative effect blah, blah, blah. But she too is confused, along all of the people here in the hall except for them, at the scene that shows in them now. Well, you can't blame them. They don't know that Greek Mythology is true much less see Mt. Olympus.
After dinner, Harry and the others led us to the Gryffindor tower. We noticed many amazing things like moving staircases and alive paintings. Finally, we reached a painting of a not-so-sexy lady.
" What now?" Thalia asked.
Harry smirked then said, " Hungarian Horntail". The picture swung open revealing a very cozy room.
" COOOLLLL!!!!" Travis and Connor both said.
" So.... where are our rooms?" Annabeth said, yawning.
" Boys are on the right part, girls on the left. Claim any unoccupied bunks there." Ginny smiled.
We cimbed up the stairs and was greeted at the sight of our suitcases. As we sat on our beds, we began to talk in Greek.
" What an exciting day!" I exclaimed.
" It's gonna be even more exciting tomorrow..." Nico said, laughing.
" Yeah, imagine their looks when they know that we are demigods.." Travis said.
" Epic!!!" Connor sniggered.
We talked for a while and finally we said goodnights to each other. I pulled the curtains and fell asleep.
