    Some of the Weasley's names came from the Medieval Times.
    Arthur, of course is King Arthur, Percy from Sir Percival (one of the Knights from the round table) and Charlie from Charlemagne- a medieval King. King Arthur's spear was called Rohngomynaid which was shortened to Ron by Geoffrey of Monmouth. And finally, Ginny is short for Minerva which is an Italian name name for Guinevere- King Arthur's Queen.
