They took Loki to a cell, and we all watched Fury talk to Loki

Fury walked over to a control panel near Loki's cell

"Incase it's unclear" Fury started "If you try to escape, you so much as scratch that glass"

He pressed a button and the floor beneath the cell opened

"Thirty thousand feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Fury asked as Loki peered down

"Ant" he gestured to Loki

"Boot" he gestured at the control panel

Then Loki laughed, non-humour-ish, "It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me" he stated

"It's built for something a lot stronger than you"

"Oh I've heard" Loki gave us his creepy pedophile smirk, "A mindless beast, makes play it's still a man" I glanced at Bruce and squeezed his shoulder assuringly

"How desperate are you?" Loki asked, "You call on such lost creatures to protect you"

"How desperate am I?" Fury retorted

"You threatened my world with war. You steal a force you can't help to control. You talk about peace but you kill because it's fun"

"You have made me very desperate" Fury continued

"You might not be glad that you did"

Loki smiled in a mocking manner, "Oh it kills you to have come so close. To have the tesseract. To have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all of mankind to share and then to be reminded what real power is" he finished

Nick was very well pissed off, but managed to scoff mockingly

"Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something" said Fury before he walked away

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Joked Bruce

I scoffed, "Like feet fungus" I muttered

But Bruce heard me and he laughed

"Loki's going to drag this out" Steve said

"Thor, what's his play?" I asked

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They are not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, the tesseract"

"An army? From outer space?" Steve asked

Now it's really beginning to feel like Star Wars

"He's building another portal" Bruce said "That's why he needs Eric Selvig for"

"Selvig?"

"He's an astrophysicist" Bruce explained

"He's a friend" Thor and I stated at the same time

"Loki has him in some kind of spell" I said, remembering what happened

"Along with one of ours" I looked down sadly

Nat put a hand to my shoulder and gave me a sad smile

"I want to know why Loki let us take him" Sil stated, "He's not leading an army from here"

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him" Bruce stated

"Have care how you speak" Thor rose his voice, "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he is my brother"
