Pandemonium

"Geocaching?" Tumango si Sab habang nakangiti and same goes to Faye. Mukhang alam na rin niya ang tungkol dito.

"Kind of."

"Wait, it's kinda like treasure hunting, right?" Asked Bree. Tumango ulit si Sab.

Nasa workplace namin kami. May sasabihin raw kasi si Sab dahil may announcement mamaya at narinig niya na ito mula sa itaas kaya ibinabalita na niya saamin. She really have ways to know everything beforehand. Typical Sab.

"Yup. It's an outdoor treasure hunt where you use GPS system to navigate a specific coordinate. That coordinate has a container in it that you have to locate. Each container has something in it. If you take something out, you have to put something in. Kaya lang I heard na hindi raw kailangang may ilagay sa game natin since this is not really geocaching. It's more on treasure hunt." Nagtaas ako ng kilay. Treasure hunt? Well I love treasure hunt. It's a mystery bound to be discovered. Bawat pupuntahan ay may misteryong nakabalot. And I love challenges and mysteries.

"And oh, the thrill here is we get to do it at night! Exciting 'di ba? Lalo na't Venom style ito." Said Faye. Napangisi ako. Lahat nga ng gawa ng Venom ay kakaiba at hindi basta-basta. I bet this will be one heck of a game.

Pero para saan ang game na ito? Never has there been one in my ten years of stay here.

"Pero may deadly weapons bang allowed gamitin? You know, can we hurt the other assassins---" Pinutol agad siya ng excited na si Faye kaya napairap si Bree. Napangisi ako dahil 'dun saka napatingin kay Faye.

"Of course not! Where will the challenge be kung may sandata tayo?" Sandata? I almost laughed at that. "I heard we will be unarmed as the rules say but we can get some knives and all through some kits hidden somewhere in the game place. Pero gagamitin raw natin iyon for other things but fighting."

So just purely brute force ang pwede lang pala naming gamitin dito. We will fight barehandedly but I don't mind.

"How about the game place? Alam niyo ba kung saan?" Tanong ko. I'm guessing na sa isa itong malawak at maraming pasikot-sikot na lugar. Tutal, this appears to be an amazing race na rin. Combination ng treasure hunt and amazing race with a deadly twist.

Nagkatinginan sina Sab at Faye at sabay sumilay ang ngisi sa kanilang mga labi. They looked back at me and Bree sabay sinabing,

"Pandemonium."

Nanlaki ang mga mata namin ni Bree at agad akong ginapangan ng kakaibang sensasyon. Kulang na lang ay tumaas ang mga balahibo ko pakarinig ng lugar na iyon. So ito pala 'yung sinasabi ni Death Hustler the other day. Doon kami maglalaban-laban sa lugar na iyon.

Pandemonium, a forbidden valley. Ito ang kinatatakutang puntahan ng mga ordinaryong tao. They call it 'Death Valley' dahil sa pinalilibutan ito ng kabundukan at kagubatan. Marami na rin ang nababalitaang nawala roon at hindi na natagpuan pang muli. They thought they already died so that's where its name came from. But in the world we have, it is called Pandemonium. Matagal na itong sinarado sa publiko. Ordinary people were restricted to cross the boundary. Kaming mga hindi ordinaryo lang ang pwedeng mangahas na pumasok roon. But even us M4 haven't been there before. Maybe now is the time to see the so called hell valley.

"Sino ang mga pwedeng sumali?" Tanong ko. Napatingin si Sab sa'kin and crossed her legs.

"Well, based from what I heard.. Any group consisting of four to five members can join. Spies or assassins, except for the tyros or new recruits. You know why.. this isn't just any ordinary game." Si Faye na ang nagpatuloy.
