Oliver felt numb. Nothing was going to be the same. His face was drenched in tears and he couldn't help but stare as they covered her body with a white cloth. His body jolted up and down as he tried to contain air inside his lungs.

He slowly took a step, then another, and another until he reached the covered lump on the table. Its true that there is still brain activity for another 6 minutes. He leaned over her weak body, slumping down onto the bed softly. His throat began to burn even more and it was beginning to be unbearable. "I love you," He spoke to her, hoping that she could hear him still.

Charlie and Alex watched as this strong man fell apart.

He picked his head up from her body and peeled the top of the light, white sheet off of her face. He stopped at the sight of her hair, and stroked it softly. He already missed the way that he could smell her hair as she laid on his chest at night. He missed the way she would let him massage her scalp and how it would leave his fingers smelling like fruit. He continued to peel the sheet away from her face, revealing her dust coloured, opened eyes. Peeling the rest of the sheets off, he stopped when her neck was showing. Her entire face was revealed now.

It looked like she was frozen in a state of shock. Her mouth was opened a little bit, slightly revealing her two front teeth. Her cheeks seemed to be stuck in a ghostly world full of paleness. And her eyes. Her eyes were opened, but not all of the way. You could see her iris and pupils clearly, but her eyelid looked tired and weak. And the colour of her iris had changed. Oliver winced at the knowledge that this meant she wasn't ready to go. Her eye colour was more of a pale grey, and it looked like there was a dusty coating over it. Not to mention the whites of her eyes had clearly visible red veins.

Oliver raised him hand up, putting the smallest bit of pressure against her eyelids, sliding them down. She looked more at peace this way. He set his head down onto her neck like she used to do with him. He had no idea what he was going to do without her.

Nobody could ever replace her. Never, ever, ever.

He felt a rush of guilt pour over him and he couldn't help but melt onto her chest. His head ached now, and his eyes felt so strained that it hurt to move them.

"Im sorry, but you have to leave." Maggie, the same woman that announced her time of death spoke, standing in front of Oliver, waiting like a jaguar stalking its prey.

"What, why?" Oliver managed to lift his head to meet her gaze. He had left a wet puddle on the white sheet that was covering her body. "Why do I have to leave?" He looked around at Charlie and Alex, his new 'friends' and felt weak. They didn't have anything to say, all they did was stare. Before leaving, he laid a kiss on her once soft lips and pried himself away from her slowly. Dr. Reid followed him out.

She closed the door behind them as they entered the quiet halls. "I'm sorry." Her face sank as she began to talk. "We will inspect the MRI with immense fortitude. If we don't find anything, a full autopsy will be scheduled and we will call you." She slipped him a piece of paper with her signature on it. "Get anything you want at the cafeteria. Its on me." Oliver took the piece of paper, sticking it in his front pocket.

"Thanks.." He trailed off as he watched Felicity's bed being wheeled down the hallway. "I should go to the lobby. My friend is waiting there."

Alex set her hand on his shoulder, and let it slide off as he walked away.

He walked slowly, his mind screaming and tears streaming down his face. His heart felt like it was about to pound out of his chest. His cheeks heated up and he felt lightheaded.
