I trudged to the kitchen unhappily in the little kids' dress. Wesley walked with me and got something out of the fridge.

"Bacon?" I said.

"Yep!" he told me. "Maybe it will help you feel better."

Well, maybe it would. Bacon was my favorite food, after all, and he knew that.

"Probably won't help that much," I grumbled. Of course I wouldn't actually tell him that.

He smiled. "You'll warm up to it."

When the bacon was ready he scooped it onto my plate and we ate. When he was finished he got up and went upstairs and came down carrying some of my clothes.

"Don't I get to choose my own clothes?" I asked.

"Sorry, but right now Daddy will take care of that for you." I almost cringed at the word Daddy.

"Ugh," I said.

He tossed me the outfit and told me to put it on. I reluctantly went to "my" room and put it on before heading off to work.

I'm so sorry it's been so long since an update! I just decided that a short one was better than nothing.
