It’s been a few days since I woke up and the doctor says I’m improving a lot. She said I should be able to leave the hospital tomorrow. I’m really excited I’m ready to get out of this place.
Ever since people heard I wake up, I’ve been receiving lots of gifts and visits. I’m even on the news!!! That’s so crazy. I got on twitter on Justin’s phone and I made a tweet saying how much I’ve missed everybody and I’m just very happy.
Right now I was laying on my bed watching tv with Justin when someone walked in. I turned and saw it was Maria. My jaw dropped and it looked like she’s been crying.
“I’m going to leave you guys so you can talk.” Justin said. He kissed my forehead and walked out.
We sat there in silence until she spoke,
“How are you feeling?” she asked
“Good.” I said
“I’m so sorry.”
“There’s nothing you need to apologize for.”
“Yes I do. I need to apologize for being a bad mother and not being there when you needed me. I’m so sorry.” She said crying
“Come here.” She came to me and hugged me.
“I forgive you.” I said
“This is all my fault.” She said
“No it’s not. None of this is. I’m sorry for treating you bad.”
“It’s not your fault. It’s mine for leaving you.”
We sat there and hugged and cried on each other’s shoulder until my dad walked in.
“I’m sorry.” He said
“No come here. I wanted to tell you that I made up with my mom and I want you two to make up too.” I said
They just looked at each other with wide eyes.
“Please.” I begged
“Ok.” My dad said
“Umm let me start. I’m sorry for leaving you with all the kids I was stupid and I’m really sorry.” She said
“I’m sorry for treating you wrong and for screaming at you.” He said
“I forgive you.” She said
“I forgive you too.” He said
“Alright now hug.” I said
The both turned to me and looked at each other. They shrugged and hugged each other.
“Yay!!! I love you guys!!”
They came to me and we had a group hug. Hopefully things will get better after this.
