Dinner Date

Olivia's POV
Hailey and Munch explore the museum while I sit on a bench and text David looking up occasionally at my happy daughter

Liv- so about tonight?

David- I'm not busy did you
Get a baby sitter?

Liv- I'll ask munch he can't resist seeing Hailey 24/7 ;)

David- I miss our alone time it's like we barely get to see each other :(

Liv- I know with work, and Hailey it's hard but maybe we can catch up with everything tonight

David- definitely, I gtg to court but I'll call you later love you babe

I smile at my phone and lock it. Hailey runs up to me with a stuffed T-Rex

"LOOK WHAT MUNCH BOUGHT ME MOMMY!" Hailey smiles happily while cuddling the stuffed animal

"It's really cute baby but it's time to go now sweetie" I smile and kiss my daughters cheek before standing up

"Ok mom" Hailey smiles and holds my hand. We walk to the car with Munch

"Munch are you busy tonight?" I ask while running my fingers though my hair stressed out because I really need a baby sitter

"No I'm free, why things with Haden not working out?" he smirks and puts on a hat, and scarf even though it's eighty degrees outside.

"We wanted to go out tonight but I need a baby sitter can you watch Hailey for a few hours please?" I ask practically begging. I needed to see Haden for more than catching up.

"Yea sure"

Olivia's Apartment
June 5
5:30 PM

Olivia's POV

I made Hailey some dinner and was
Getting ready to go with David.

"MOM WHEN IS MUNCH COMING?!"

"He will be here within the hour. Hey can you zip me up baby girl?" I ask moving my long brown hair out of the way

Hailey nods zipping up my red dress with ease. It showed off my
curves, had a scoop neck revealing some cleavage and was just above the knee.

"Do I look ok so far? Is this dress pretty?" I ask looking at my self in the mirror.

Hailey nods smiling huge. I smile back at her, curling my hair and applying make up.

"Mom you don't need that" she responds smiling at me and I return the smile finishing up with lip gloss

I walk over to the front door hearing the buzzer and buzz munch and David up. I smile at them when they walk in the door.

"W..wow Liv" he smiles at me
Kissing me softly.

I smile up at David and wrap my arms around him and kiss him again. Munch walks in as well and leans in for a kiss. I laugh and playfully slap his arm.

"Ok you two love birds have fun."

"Thank you so much, there is money for take out on the counter for you, Hailey already ate and she knows her bedtime and everything else." I lean down and kiss my daughter's cheeks

"Be good baby." She nods and hugs me tightly

"Bye mommy." She waves and we leave.

"You look amazing Detective Benson" David smiles at me, holding my hand as we walk to his car.

"You don't look too bad yourself" I open the door

"Gosh I love this Mercedes" I smiled and kissed him again a little rougher

"Mmmm... babe we gotta save that for later" he smirked and started the car as we drove to a fancy restaurant close by

When we walked inside the restaurant it was empty, we were lead to a table for two in the back, the lights were dim and there were a candles on the table.

"Take a seat my love" David pulls out my chair and I sit down smiling

"Such a gentlemen" I smile and pick up the wine list running my fingers across  the titles

"Pinot Grigio?" David smiles knowing it's one of my favorites

"Deal. You know me so well" I smile and watch our waiter walk over to us

David asks for the wine and he smiles reaching his hand across the table grabbing mine kissing it softly.

"I love you so much. These past four months you've been helping me get through some really difficult stuff." I look up at David smiling at his deep blue eyes

"I know you miss Elliot." He whispers rubbing his thumb over the top of my hand

"He was... he is my best friend we went through everything together." I sigh

"I'm sure he'll call. It'll be okay Liv." He smiled and the waiter brought us our wine.

I take a sip of mine and smile at David, "You know Hailey loves you right?"

"Yea, she's such an angel. I'm so lucky to have two amazing girls in my life."

"You never really talk about your life before you came to the city." I ask him

"Well I was married but I'm divorced obviously. I have a son."

"You have a son?! How come you never told me about him?" I ask shocked

"Well he never came up. He is so cute though I miss him." He smiles and shows me a picture of his adorable son

"That's Matthew. He's almost eight." He smiles handing me the photo

"His is so adorable, do you ever get to see him?" I ask looking at him

"Matt's mom has full custody but I call him a lot. Sometimes I get to visit but not nearly as much as I want to." He sighs and looked down

"I'm so sorry David..." I squeeze his hand

"It's okay. I'm just happy I have Hailey she's so happy all the time. It makes me happy." He smiles big

"Yea she is such a bundle of joy. Such a happy kid." I smile

"Liv I don't mean to pry but what happened to her father?"

"Well...can we talk about it later" I bit my lip and called the waiter over

"Hi, can we have an order of the toasted brioche with brie" I smile and look to David

The waiter nods and walks away, "how did you know I wanted that baby?"

"I know you so well"

We eat and talk for awhile and decide at the end of the night to head back to his place for a little while since it wasn't too late yet. After paying the bill we walked out hand in hand and got in the car

"I love you" I whisper pulling David's collar kissing him

"And I love you" he responded after the kiss was over. He gently massages my thighs as he drove.

"Baby stop that unless we are having sex in the car. Right now." I say slowly trying to control my breathing

He bit his lip laughing slightly as he slid his hands under the dress as he pulled into the parking lot of his building. I quickly turn to face him and scan his body up and down.

"Hurry up" I say before kissing his lips and exiting the vehicle practically running inside.

Haden followed close behind and we quickly took the elevator up to the pent house; I already started unbuttoning his shirt.

"Can't wait huh?" He asks as he unzipped my dress as he walked me backwards inside to his home shutting the door behind us.

We made our way to the bedroom and fell on to the bed.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

It was a passion filled night, I loved this man with everything in me but sometimes I think about Elliot, and get...sad.
