A/N: Hello everyone! I am so, so sorry for not updating for like...a gazillion years! I've been so busy with school.. A lot of bad memories and such have been brought up, and I felt that I needed to spill them onto a page...and so, here it is.
My advice: never get too close to someone.
It's always best to keep your distance,
If you still want to see the sun.
Thinking they're still in the right takes a lot of resistance.
I trusted people too much,
And every one of them used me, abused me.
I wouldn't say it hurt as such,
But it made me realise that betrayal works,
In mysterious ways.
Ways that we will never understand,
What runs through a persons mind,
When they decide to hurt you,
Or do it without realising the effect,
It would have on others.
I suppose without betrayal life would be pretty bland,
But goodness, it'd be so much easier,
If we could relax without the worry,
Of being stabbed in the back.
Just promise me you'll never be as blind,
As I was.
