*6 months later - August*

August POV:

These last six months haven't been tha same. Tha kids took it hard. Especially Aug cuz dey super close. So dey come check wheneva dey can. MeMe didn't miscarry. Ha hormone level came up. Slowly but it came up juss enough fa tha beybe ta live. MeMe on tha otha hand...ain't lookin' too good. She's really pale. Really, really, pale. She's always feelin' bad. It's not good in general. While I was in tha kitchen, I heard MeMe call my name. But it was moe of a pain noise. I jogged upstairs and by natrual instinct, I put on our shoes, grabbed tha keys. I picked ha and left out tha room. When go outside and put ha in tha car, I run ta driva side, and drive off. As I'm drivin'...I see ha strugglin' ta keep ha eyes open

Me: "Beybe keep'em open. Don't close'em" I said tappin' on ha

I'm goin' literally a hunnid miles per hour, tappin' on MeMe ta keep ha eyes open while talkin' ta somebody at tha hospital. When I pull up, dey already comin' out. Dey take ha out, put ha on tha stretcher, and I get out. When dey take ha in, some doctor looked at me and we followed behind

Doc: "What's wrong with her?"

Me: "Ion know. She called my name cuz she was in pain"

Doc: "Do you know if she was diagnosed with anything?"

Me: "Cancer. And she's six months pregnant. You can't tell by what she has on, but she is.."

He looked a me fast as hell and I juss nodded ta let him know I'm serious. He went ta tha back and I sat down. I hope and pray er'thang is okay...

*Hospital - 9:30 pm"

Janae: "When are dey comin' out?"

Me: "Ion know. I wish dey would hurry up"

Nevaeh: "I really hope ma is okay"

Lil Aug: "She'll be fine. I know she will"

I was zoned out until Kirk tapped my shoulder and pointed. I look up and see Chris

Chris: "Is she okay?"

Me: "We'ont know. We haven't heard anythang yet"

Chris: "Have you been here all day?"

I juss nod

Chris: "They shoulda came out with something already"

Me: "Exactly"

Two hours go by still nun. When 12:30 am hit, tha doctor came out...

Sheila: "Is er'thang okay?"

Doc: "I have some bad news"

What he tol' us killed me inside. A part of me is gone. And there is nun I can do about it
