Luke - You Have a Nightmare

You were running wildly through a field. You didn't know who was trying to hurt you, but you knew you needed to keep running. As you were running you tripped on a rock, and fell face first into the ground. You started to panic when suddenly you heard Luke's frightened voice calling out to you. "Y/N? Y/N?! Where are you? I need you!" He screamed, and you felt your throat start to close up as the tears pricked at your eyes. You started to look around the field you were in looking for some small sign to where Luke was, but you couldn't find him. You heard him scream out in pain, and before you knew it your legs were running throughout the field to find him. You must have searched the entire field, but you couldn't find him, and you hadn't heard him scream or say anything else, so you started to panic. Your mind started racing with images of him being hurt or worse. You fell to the ground in complete and utter despair. You started to scream your lungs out, and you felt the hot tears pouring down your cheeks.

"Y/N? Baby? Wake up. Please, wake up." Luke gently shook you until your eyelids fluttered open. "Oh, thank God!" He leans down and wipes your tears from your eyes. He peppers your face with kisses and looks at you with concern swimming in his bright blue eyes.

"Luke? You're okay?! I'm so sorry! I was so scared! I couldn't find you, and you kept screaming!! I searched everywh-" You try to explain but choke on your sobs.

"Y/N, you're okay. You just had a nightmare. You're fine. I'm fine. You have nothing to worry about or apologize for." He wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you as close as possible to his warm body.

"I was so scared, Lukey. I thought I had lost you forever." You whimper and look up at Luke.

"Y/N, listen to me, baby girl. I'm right here. For now and forever. You don't have to worry about losing me. You couldn't get rid of me if you tried. No matter what we'll always find our way back to each other." He smiles at you and kisses your lips softly. You can't help but smile into the kiss, and you feel his lips twitch into a smile. "Now, princess, would you like to tell me about your dream? That always helps to calm you down." He looks down at you and strokes your arm gently to further calm you down.

You nod your head and he tightens his grip on your waist. "I was running through a field, because someone was trying to hurt me, but suddenly I heard your voice calling out to me, and I looked all over for you! I tried, but I couldn't find you!! You kept screaming out for me, and you sounded like you were in pain, but I never found you! I thought they killed you! I thought you were gone." You choke out, and you begin to sob all over again.

Luke pulls you even tighter against his chest and kisses your forehead. "Shh, shh. It's all okay, love. I'm right here. That was just a nightmare. This is real." He puts his finger under your chin and lifts your chin up gently to look into your eyes. You smile shyly at him as you admire his beautiful face. He quickly glances at your lips and slowly leans down to press a soft kiss to them. He pulls away after a moment and smiles at you. "I love you so much, Y/N. Do you know that? How did I get so lucky?"

You blush at his comment, but quickly shake your head. "I love you so much, Luke, but I'm the lucky one. For once the world was on my side, and let me end up with someone as amazing as you."

"For now until the end of time, baby." He murmured into your neck as he slowly drifted off to sleep with his tight grip still on your waist and his breath lightly tickling your neck. You smiled to yourself as you closed your eyes and fell back to sleep in the safety of Luke's arms.
