Requested: Anonymous - "Can you write a Luke one where he tells his best friend he likes her but she rejects him, and years later when Luke comes home she realizes that she likes him, but you and Luke met and fell in love and have a baby together and she gets jealous?"

Luke lays on your shared king sized bed as he watches you pack your suitcase frantically. Your six month old daughter, Kennedy, curled up on his shirtless chest as she sleeps soundly.

"Is she finally out?" You ask, folding another shirt and sliding it into your bag.

"Yeah, I think I'm going to go lay her down, so that way we can pack without worrying about waking her." He suggests, he slowly stands up, cradling her to his chest.

When he reaches her room he slowly places her in her crib, soft snores escaping her tiny lips. He admires her for a moment before joining you in your bedroom.

You halt your packing when you notice him laying back down on the bed. "Have you packed anything yet, Lu?"

"Not yet, but don't worry about it, princess. I've got it." He smiles small.

"Alright, well I'm going to pack bathroom things. Don't forget our flight leaves at 5 am, so we need to leave the house by at least 3. We should get to bed soon too, so please don't wait too long, Lu."

"Gotcha babe."

He watches as you walk into the bathroom, packing everything for your trip back to his hometown for a few weeks. His mind begins to wander to the events that occurred the last time he was back home.

"Why are you acting so weird today, Lu? Is it because you have to leave for LA soon? You know they told you that you don't have to live there, so you can always come back home."

"Eliza, just listen to me for a moment, okay? I need to tell you something before I leave." Luke explains.

"Okay." She answers, slowly sitting down on his bed as she watches him pace around his room nervously.

"I know we've been best friends since the third grade, but I like you, okay? I really, really like you, and I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to go get a burger this Friday?" He rushes.

"Oh, Luke...I'm so sorry, I just I don't feel that way about you. I'll still get a burger with you, but it can only be as a friends date, not a date date." She explains, standing up from his bed to touch his arm gently.

He steps back slightly, pulling his arm away from her warm touch. "I-uh-I think you should leave. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you." He walks to the door and holds it open for her expectantly.

"Luke, you're being stupid. Look at you and look at me! We just don't match! I'm at the top of the food chain here, and you're on the bottom half. We can be friends, but I can't date you." She explains.

Luke winces at her words, gesturing his arm towards the door for her to leave. "I'll see you later, Eliza."

"You're so stupid. I can't believe you're making me leave because you have a pathetic little crush on me." She hisses as she leaves the room, slamming the front door on her way out.

Luke's brought back to reality when he feels your body flop on the bed beside him.

"Whatcha thinking about, Hemmings?"

Luke looks at you, a small smile on his lips as he pulls you tightly against his side.

"Just the last time I was home. Nothing spectacular." He mumbles against your hair.
