What seems like the best usually has the worst plot twist....I learnt that the had way

"I have something to tell you" Diego stated guilt written all over his face, did he tell Leon? Oh my god he did, he told Leon that's why they are still friends....oh my I am so dead

"Vilu?" I woke up from my thoughts as I saw Diego waving his hand infront of my face...oh he's still here

"I don't know if you'll take this as good news or bads news" he trailed off as I seriously wanted to punch him, if he told Leon why doesn't he come clean without putting me in suspense

"My father wants me to go back to spain" he said rubbing the back of his head, wait that's it? Why is he so guilty about that

I smiled as I started talking to him

"You don't want to go?" I asked trying to hide my excitement, if Diego leaves all of my problems are solved, I won't have to worry about anyone knowing anything...

"It's not that I don't wanna go, it's just that I feel bad for leaving you like this" I could feel the sincerity in his voice, I have to say I had doubted him a lot but he was a really great person

"Oh its ok, Leon and Fran got together, that's what we wanted right? I don't think I'll have to do anything else" I said keeping my voice low so that no one would hear me

"Yeah they are together" he said his words trailing off as he rubbed the back of his head nervously, it was like he was hiding something

To think that I shouldve gotten a hint right there, but no past me was too oblivious to things around her

He regained himself as he smiled at me

"Yeah we got them together and that's what's important" he said rubbing both his palms together as he let out a sigh

"I'm really thankful to you Diego" I started as he looked up at me, I truly was

"If it weren't for you I wouldve not gotten away with this" I paused to let out of a breath that I was holding as Diego was listening to me carefully

"Thanks again and I hope that Leon won't hate ne much now" I said as I smiled, I mean that's what this was about right, Leon not being harsh with me, even though this morning I had surprised myself by bursting out on him

"Yeah about that Vilu" Diego started shaking me out of my thoughts

"Don't even be weak when you talk to him, remember that you're stronger than he thinks and juts be confident when you talk to him ok?" He asked as he put a hand on my shoulder, I don't why or how but I nodded, I felt that what he said was right but I did not think that I would actually be able to do all of that

"It was fun being your partner in crime" Diego said as I laughed while he pulled me in for a hug as he wrapped his arms around me, I hugged him back as I smiled to myself

This day is getting better and better, yes Diego leaving is sad but with him out of the way no one can even think that I had done anything

Man was I selfish or what?

He pulled away as he gave me a small wave and walked over to the guys as I waved back at him abou-

"Vilu!" I heard a shout as I turned behind to see Fran running towards me

She reached me as she put a hand on my shoulder and bended down breathing heavily

"You....you wouldn't believe....believe what happened" she said still out of breath but she seems really excited

"What happened?" I asked once she was okay and back to breathing normally

"So like you said; I apologize to Leon" she said as my eyes went wide not that she listened to me but because she actually apologised, that's something new

"No way" I said as she nodded her head up and down, a smile still plastered on her face

"I told him that I acted like that because I had realised my feelings and then....then" she stopped on purpose juSt to annoy me, she knew I wanted to know badly

"Then what?" I asked impatiently as she laughed

"He told me that he too realised a few things and then he kissed me, it was the best thing ever" she said with a dreamy look on her face as she had her hands over her chest, so this is what being on cloud nine feels like

"Well I'm happy for you" I said as she was still in her dreamy land

I was about to shake her out of it but stopped once I saw Leon coming towards her

He looked at her with a small guinene on his face as he stroked her arm

"Babe?" I heard him say as he looked at her concerned, Fran immediately came to her senses as she smiled back at him, her smile was truly glowing today, she was really happy and that made me happy

Leon gave me the usual look her gives, you know the one where he pretends I'm something hidius, you know the disgusted look, wasn't he just happy a minute ago? Do I seriously make him unhappy that bad, he turned away from me and back to Fran

I almost gasped at how his expression went soft in a split second....jerk

"Ready to go?" Leon asked her in a low voice as I raised my eye brow while Fran nodded her head at him

He put her arm around her shoulder as they Walked away, Fran turned around to face me as she mouthed  'I'll explain later' to me, I smiled as I waved back at her

This was great, they were happy together, yes Leon was still the same but he will change too

Did I forget to mention that I was one hella optimistic?

I put my books in my locker ready to go home

...

I entered into the apartment as it was pretty late, after school I saw the girls on the way and they were curios tp know what had happened with Leon and Fran and also why Deigo had to leave

So I talked to them for quite a while, Fran had texted me saying she had the time of her life with Leon and that she needed to visit her mother

I assume Leon had taken her because none of them were seen in the apartment...I saw Fede coming out of the kitchen with a bowl of cereal in his hands, he stopped chewing as he saw me

"Hey Vilu, Diego called, he told me to tell you that his flight had departed and that he'll call when he lands" Fede explained as he sat on the couch turning the TV off while I nodded at him

"Are Fran and Leon still out?" I asked putting my bag down while Fede took a spoon full to his mouth

"Yeah, I don't think they'll be back any time soon" he said his mouth full as I gave him a scolded look while he chuckled innocently

"I'll be in my room of you need anything" I said making my way towards my room

....

I took a quick shower changing my clothes as I sat down on the side of my bed....I opened my drawer, looking for my Diary, I swear I had put it in there....I was looking for it taking all of the things out as the voice of my room door opening made me look up

And boy did I regret looking up

My eyes widened as I saw the one person I never thought I would see standing in my room
