My eyes drifted open slowly, it was bright in my room and someone was snoring softly. I looked next to me on the bed; no one was there, then I remembered this morning. I looked over at my phone; there was Mark, asleep in his computer chair. I smiled at how cute he was. It was 10 o' clock in the morning which meant it was... 2 in the morning there,

"Oh, Mark," I whispered, partially involuntarily.

"Mark," I said kind of lovingly. He shifted,

"Mark," I said again, louder. His eyes drifted open sleepily,

"Huh?" I smiled, he was so cute,

"Mark, you have to go to bed, sweet heart, "I said sweetly, not like he'd remember.

"Please come with me," he said, clearly still half asleep,

"You'd have to Skype me on your phone, Marky," I said. He nodded and picked his phone up, ended the call, and called back. I answered and smiled when his tired, smiling face reappeared on my phone screen,

"Now you can come with me," he said, pleased with himself. I smiled,

"Yes I can." He stood and walked to his bedroom. He pulled back the covers, plugged his phone in and laid down.

"Love you," he mumbled tiredly. Once I was pretty sure he was asleep, I whispered back,

"Love you too, Markimoo," I knew that he was so tired he didn't know what he was saying, and he wouldn't remember what I had said, but - for a moment - it felt like he loved me back, and I adored that. I walked over to my computer and plugged in my phone again to make sure it wouldn't shut off on Mark. I muted my microphone and turned the volume down to record a couple of videos. Once I finished recording, I turned the volume up on my phone so I could hear Mark, but left my mic muted so I wouldn't disturb his slumber.

Once I finished editing, I checked the time. It was almost 2. I got the videos set up to upload and un muted my mic. I hadn't eaten all day so I was hungry. I unplugged my phone and walked to the kitchen, listening to Mark snore softly. I looked in my fridge, grabbed a cold slice of pizza and took a bite. I heard an alarm and looked around, wondering where it was coming from. It stopped and I realized it had come from the Skype call. Mark groaned and looked at his phone,

"Jack! You're still there? Did you sleep alright? Oh, I'm so sorry I fell asleep on you," he said, panicked,

"Mark, Mark, please. You're fine. Yes, thanks for your help, I slept incredibly. When I woke up this morning I sent you off to bed and then recorded my videos , you were barely awake but you wanted to make sure I went with you, so I figured I'd better stay," I explained. He blushed,

"You didn't have to do that," he said. I shrugged,

"You'd do the same for me, in fact, you did," I said, smiling and half-teasing him. He sighed and rolled his eyes,

"You still didn't have to. You had a nightmare, I didn't," he tried to argue.

"Don't try Mark; you're my best friend. If you want me to keep you company, just call me up. That's what best friends are for, right?" I asked, pushing the word 'right'. He sighed.

"Right," he groaned, "You still didn't have to," I nodded.

"I know I didn't Mark, but I wanted to," Mark gave me a curious look,

"Dat sounds AWFULLY FAMILIAR," he said in a very Warfstache voice. I laughed,

"Wonder why," I said, playing innocent. Mark laughed at me,
