Chapter 1, When my life became a living hell

-(Y/n)'s P.O.V)-

~Flash back~

"Come on Jeffrey! We don't have all day!" I yell loudly.

I look behind me to see a boy with light brown hair and blue eyes trying to catch up with me.

"(Y/n) wait up!" Yelled the boy.

I slow down and he catches up with me. I give a smile but he only glares at me.

"(Y-y/n)..... You.... Could have..... Waited for me...." He says between gasps.
"Sorry Jeffrey I just don't want to be late for school.... Again."
"Will you please stop calling me Jeffrey? It sounds to mature! I want to be a cool kid!" He says like a three year old.
"Okay okay... Sorry Jeff."
"That's better! Now why are you so worried about school? It's just school."

I snap my head towards him.

"What?! School helps me get into a college! I don't want to be a hobo when I grow up!"

He chuckles slightly and taps my head.

"Stop worrying so much! A couple days of being late isn't gonna hurt anything!"

I swat his hand away.

"Don't tap my head like that. It makes me feel small."
"Your 14! Your not small. Trust me."

I've always had health problems. I was born 5 weeks early. I have problems breathing sometimes. Only when I run or I'm stressed for a really long time. It hasn't happened in a while. But I still have other health problems. I have a rare condition called HSP. (I actually have this. I'm better now! But it was really bad.) Its where your immune system fights the good parts of your body. Like your joints and your kidneys. It gives you a purple rash and you can't move because of the pain in your joints. I had to be put in the hospital for three days. Worst days of my life. I was about nine or ten when we found out I had it. It put a bit stop sign it my life for a while. Only three other people have this like me. I'm better now though! I have Jeffrey who's been my friend since we were one. He's a little older than me. Maybe three months. He's my best friend. He's helped me through a lot of bad times. Like when I was in the hospital! He came to see every day. I've also gotten closer with Jeff's little brother! His name is Liu! He's so nice and he loves to play at the park. I take him there every Saturday! Heck, I've gotten close to Jeff's whole family! There like my second family!

As me and Jeff chatted we made it to the school. I touch Jeff's shoulder and smile.

"I'll see you later Jeff!"
"See Ya (Y/n)!"

We both have different classes. So we parted ways. I make it to my class room and take my seat. Then one of the popular girls comes up to me.

"Oh look what we have here~"  she says teasingly.

I look at her straight in the eyes and make a 'Tch' sound.

"What do you want Victoria?" I say slightly irritated. (Sorry if your name is Victoria!)
"Where's your hot friend Jeff?"

I roll my eyes and look back at my book. I ignore her and she starts to get irritated. She closes my book and grabs my wrist.

"Look, I don't have time for your crap. Please let go of my wrist." I say boringly.
"I asked you a question! Where's your friend?!" She snaps.
"No where. I'm not telling you anything. Now let go of me before I kick you somewhere girls shouldn't be kicked."
