- Ella's POV -
It was 1:00pm which meant the first maths class was beginning. Me and Cody headed to class feeling worn out from all the drama we had witnessed.
Bethany's dad (the principal of the academy) was letting her have a sick day to sober up, which meant on Sunday she would have to re take both classes as Sunday is our only free day.
Alison was already sitting in the classroom when we got there and so was Hayden, I'm guessing he didn't go on a search for Kim after all. He stared at me and Cody with anger and frustration, we didn't do anything wrong!
I sat down at the front of the class and quickly messaged Kim for the 10th time.
"Kim can you please answer your phone, maths class has started X "
I hid my phone in the back pocket of my jeans and concentrated on the stupid maths class we were sat in, it's so boring. Cody was half asleep beside me and all I could do was draw a moustache on him with my marker pen every time the teacher had her back to us.
Alison was working hard and constantly complimenting the teacher as usual, Hayden was gazing off into the distance as if he was in a sad movie (I could almost hear the violins as I looked at him).
- Hayden's POV -
"Now does anybody know how to add? It is very tricky at first but-"
Oh. My. God. Does she really think a group of 16-17 year old's can't add numbers together? I rested my head on my left hand and began to doze off.. Until my phone vibrated loudly in my jacket pocket.
"Ella I don't care about maths! I have a really big problem and I need you, please meet me under the fire exit stairs IMMEDIATELY x"
It was from Kim.. I'm guessing this message wasn't for me.
"Miss I really need to go to the bathroom sorry" I shouted while holding my stomach and scrunching up my face. Ella stared at me weirdly as I ran out of the room and headed for the fire exit stairs.
There was a huge hall that was 'fire proof' in case there was a fire and it was blocking all the exits from the building, so it is always empty. I walked down the stairs slowly to make sure that I didn't make much noise but I could hear Kim's breath shaking.
"Kim?" I said while bending down and looking under the stairs, she was sitting with her head against the wall and her eyes closed, her arms were resting on the ground and covered in blood.
"Kim?! Kim can you hear me?!" I shouted in panic, I checked for her pulse but it was thankfully still beating and her breathing was almost silent.
"E-Ella?" She whispered with her eyes still closed, I grabbed my phone and called the academy which would call the head office.
"Hello?" Mr Hastings said.
"Mr Hastings this is Hayden Matthews speaking I need a doctor or an ambulance straight away, I'm in the fire emergency hall and Kim Prescott is now unconscious with bleeding wrists" I said faster than I had ever spoke in my life, I began to cry loudly while tightly holding her hand. She had gone really cold.
Mr Hastings hung up and a few moments later burst into the hall with a few nurses and the ambulance on the phone, they pushed me out of the way and put Kim on a stretcher. I cried and cried as I watched them take her away but they refused me to come.
"I need to stay with her!" I screamed with tears gushing down my frightened face.
"KIM!" I screamed as I was left alone in the hallway.
