- Kim's POV -
The reflection of the sun shined brightly on my face and woke me up, I opened my eyes and stretched to realise that I was lying on Hayden's chest in the middle of the dance studio floor.
"Hayden wake up!" I shouted anxiously while checking my phone for the time, anyone could walk in and see us!
"What's wrong?" He grumbled without opening his eyes, I stood up and looked into the mirror at myself. Wow I was a state.
"We need to get b-back to the boarding house?! R-Right now?!" I said while shaking him violently, he opened his eyes and automatically smiled widely at me. I smiled back and all my anxious thoughts suddenly disappeared.
"Don't worry, it's only 7:00am and classes aren't on a Sunday" Hayden said as I helped him up. He pulled me close and lightly kissed my stitched wrists, my heart fluttered and I stayed silent as I didn't know what to say. He looked up at me with my tear filled eyes and wiped them with his thumb, I couldn't help but smile.
"Why are you crying?" He asked quietly, I shook my head and continued to smile.
"I-I'm not sure, You make me f-feel better" I muttered while biting my lip, we held hands and exited the dance studio. Suddenly there was the 'clip clop' of high heels coming down the corridor, me and Hayden began to freak out.
"Hide under the stairs!" Hayden whispered, I grabbed the picnic basket and blanket from him and got under the stairs just in time before Miss Autumn turned the corner and spotted Hayden.
"Hayden? What are you doing here so early?" She asked while looking him up and down, his hair was messy and he only had one shoe on.
"I felt like dancing, so here I am.." He said nervously.
"Without any pointe shoes? Thats damaging to your feet, you should know better" Miss Autumn said in shame, he lowered his head and nodded. She walked on passed him but then turned back again.
"Oh and Hayden, I've noticed from your class scores that you've been loosing focus and not doing your best.. Can we change that?" She asked angrily, Hayden nodded quickly.
"Yes Miss Autumn" He said as she walked away. Hayden held his hand out to me to help me up, he grabbed the picnic basket and walked off quickly.
"H-Hayden, what's wrong?" I frowned while catching up with him, his face was expressionless.
"She knows we have been going through a hard time, all of us. She can't pick on me like that!" Hayden shouted angrily, his voiced echoed around the empty corridors.
"Having a hard time? what d-do you mean?" I asked, he went silent but then I realised what he meant. Everyone was falling behind in class because of me, because of what I did. I put my hands over my mouth in shock then ran through the front door of the academy and into the streets.
"Kim wait! I didn't mean it like that!" Hayden shouted from behind me, I continued to run down the street and passed the boarding house. My stitched wrists were on full show for the world as I began to cry knowing I was ruining everybody's dancing careers.
"You ruin everything!"
"This is what you get for hurting yourself!"
"You should do it again! This time you might succeed!"
"Die die die!"
