One Week Later

"It looks like you're good to go," Grant said checking my vitals one last time.

"Thanks," I said smiling.

"You ready to finally go home?"

"Absolutely." I know they had told me that Nick left the apartment, but I was nervous to go back. Thomas and Dylan came in with a large duffel bag.

"We searched your apartment everywhere and we made sure there weren't any bugs or anything, and you are all set," Dylan said pulling out a small black box. It started beeping.

"That's weird..." Thomas said looking over his shoulder.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Its a bug detector... it says something in here is bugged..."

"Is it just one of the ones from my apartment?" I asked.

"There weren't any in your apartment..." the three of the began searching the room high and low, looking behind everything. I looked at the bedside table and saw it instantly... the engagement ring. I picked it up and looked over at Thomas. He froze when he saw it and came over quickly, taking it. He put it next to the scanner and it beeped like crazy.

"They've been listening to us! Everything we've said!" He said.

"Brendon! Get in here!" Dylan called. Urie came in, looking frustrated.

"What?" He asked.

"We have to get out of here... now," Thomas said holding the ring out to him.

"What are you talking about?" He asked picking it up and looking at it closely.

"Its a bug. They know exactly where we are and they can hear everything we're saying!"

"Then why havent they attacked yet?"

"They're probably going to, any minute!" Dylan said. Brendon stopped to think for a moment.

"Alright then..." he put it down on the table and picked up a fire hydrant, beginning to smash it. He stopped and looked at us. "You two," he said pointing at Thomas and Dylan. "Get her out of here and get her somewhere safe. Don't take her back to her apartment, bring her to one of yours..."

"We live in the same building..." Dylan said, "Hell, we live on the same floor."

"Bring her to Thomas's apartment! They wont suspect it! Move now! Grant, I need you to help me move the files."

"Come on," Dylan said to me. I stood up and followed him and Thomas out of the room. Suddenly there was a banging at the front door.

"Shit! We're too late!" Thomas said.
"Out the back, go." Dylan said as the metal door began to dent inwards

"There's a back to this place?"

"Exactly..." we ran to a closet and he and Thomas started pulling things off of the wall, when suddenly a small. metal hatch came into view. They had to pull it open together, meaning it must be incredibly heavy. There was a small tunnel leading into the back alley. Thomas picked up a black backpack and pulled out a pistol.

"I'll go first, make sure its clear, then Caitlyn, and then you," he said to Dylan, and then headed inside. I watched as he crawled out and then jumped into the alley, looking around before signaling for us.

"Go, I'll be right behind you," Dylan said as gunshots rang out from the main room. He pulled out his gun. "Go!" He demanded. I jumped up into the tunnel and crawled out. When I got to the end, Thomas helped me out. Dylan followed close behind.

"Come on," Thomas said slinging his bag over his shoulder. They led me to a black SUV across the street.

"Get in," Dylan said opening a door for me. I hopped in the back seat and he closed the door. Thomas jumped in the drivers seat as Dylan started getting in the passenger seat, suddenly shots rang out from behind him. "Shit!" He yelled, pulling his gun back out. He closed his door. "Go! Go!" Thomas put the car into drive and began speeding away. Suddenly the back windshield exploded into shards of glass as a bullet hit it. I looked back at the giant gape where the window once was and saw the shooter, still pointing his gun at us. It was Nick.

"Get down!" Thomas shouted at me. I layed down on the seat as more shots rang out, and that's when I realized... my life had turned into complete shit.
