Part 6

Raelynn's POV

I bit my lip and watched until Jon passed out; it was pretty terrifying to witness. I loved my brother we were twins so no matter what we were devoted to care and love each other.

"What just happened, does he need a doctor!?" Evan freaked out looking at Jon in his arms.

"I don't know if we can trust you but even if you tell, no one can do anything to stop it. We are and have always been able to see dead people I don't know why but it's like we're connected to their world. Jon told me that yesterday he felt someone die, it's the first time it's happened but the person on the news last night was the guy he felt die." I replied and he looked shocked and sat there soaking everything in.

"So that means someone else just died?" He asked and I nodded running my hand through my brothers hair.

"I suppose so; this is the second time this has happened the first was when your friend Tyler took him to his house. We need to get home I'm not going to allow him to continue school today he'll only over work himself." I stated standing up ready to take Jon from Evan.

"I'll take you both home, he's not that heavy but I can't let you just drag him home." I knew Evan was only trying to help but he didn't need to be involved.

"Fine but you leave as soon as we get to our house, and please promise me you won't tell anyone about this." I replied as he easily lifted Jon up and started walking towards the student parking lot.

"I won't besides who would believe me even if I did right?" I nodded as we continued walking.

"Well it's good that you saved me from warning you about that." I replied and he smirked before tossing me the keys.

I unlocked the front door and hit the unlock button so that he could put Jon in the back seat. I then walked around to the passenger side and tossed him his keys back.

"Buckle up." I groaned but did so anyway before he did the same and we were off.

"I do have a question though; the other day at Tyler's house did you see something?" I figured sooner or later he would end up asking about that, there was no point to lie now.

"Yeah we did, it was a little girl she's trapped in that house but she's not dangerous." I replied looking out the widow as the clouds started getting darker.

"Is there a way to get rid of them?" I looked back at him for a moment before back out the window.

"A Teddy bear." I didn't have to look back over to know he was looking at me like I was crazy.

"They go away if you have a teddy bear in your house?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"No stupid, the little girl is stuck in that house because she's looking for a teddy bear. You see every lost soul is on earth for a reason, no matter how dumb it may seem she is here for a teddy bear." I replied and he nodded.

"So this whole thing is real, I mean you guy's being able to see the dead?" He asked glancing towards Jon who was shifting around in the back.

"Believe me I would give anything to wish it wasn't real but yes we can hear and see the dead, not all of them are nice either." I replied looking back at Jon as well, who sat up and rubbed his eyes before staring wide eyed at me and Evan.

"Evan, what are you- why are we in his car?" He asked leaning forward to look at me.

"You collapsed and he offered to take us home since you know, it would be a lot easier than dragging you there." I replied and he nodded remaining silent.

"Does he know?" He spoke up minutes later and I looked at Evan letting him know he didn't have to pretend.

"Yeah I do but don't worry I won't tell anyone, are you feeling better?" He asked and I looked in the mirror seeing Jon blush at the question.

"Uh yeah it just hurts; you know randomly dying in the middle of class." He joked meeting my eyes in the mirror as if to give me a 'why did you tell him' look.

"We can talk about it later but when we get home you're going to rest a little bit I know you all too well and you'll just over stress yourself." I replied looking away from him and at the houses we were passing.

"I will not, besides we need to figure out when this killer is going to kill next and why I'm connected to him." He replied and I sighed he sure was stubborn when he wanted to be.

"I think your sister's right you need to relax for a little bit, as you pointed out you just died." Evan stated sternly and I tried not to laugh.

"I didn't die I felt the victim die there's a difference." He grumbled crossing his arms as he started pouting.

"No there's not I watched it happen there's nothing more terrifying than witnessing that, Delirious I thought you were going to die. I was about to call an ambulance before your sister showed up and explained everything." His voice rose a little at the end and I slightly smirked, if I wasn't mistaken this kid had quiet the crush on my brother which was pretty cute if you ask me.

"Our house is up here." I stated noticing that they were staring down each other in the rear view mirror before Evan glanced back at the road and pulled into our drive way.
