Cheesy [wash x reader]

"I bet I can find treasure at the end of a rainbow" you puff your chest out, your friends laughing at you. You were known as the amusement at the lunch table and today wouldn't be any different. Except today you had thought up a new plan to get your hands on the guy you liked. Wash. It was the squads only day off for months and you intended to make the most of it.

"Oh yeah, how are ya going to do that (state name)?" York, the only person working with you for this plan, asked. wash looked over at you curiously from his position on the table whereas north and south rolled their eyes, having already guessed what you're up to.

"Well York, good question. Let me show you" you stood up and the others at the table groaned. You pointed at york's shirt which just so 'happened' to have a rainbow running across it.

"First all I have to do is locate the rainbow. Oh look, here's one now" you grinned slightly.

"Then you have to follow it, to the end" you ran your finger along the print of the shirt to the other side of York, where wash was sitting.

"Where has it led me?" You make eye contact with wash and he lets out a sigh. You keep your finger extended and push it against its nose.

"Ah look, a treasure chest! I wonder what's inside..." Your voice trails off, as does wash's gaze.

"You won't be opening this treasure chest..." Wash grumbles, trying to return to his meal. You grab his chin and make him look at you.

"Are you sure? Because I have the special key" you smirk at him and he starts to blush a little. The others at the table watch in amusement, you can even hear south mutter a little "oh brother"

"Key? What special k-" you cut him off by crashing your lips into his. Wash sits there wide eyed for a moment before he slowly starts to kiss back, melting into the kiss. You go to pull away but he grabs the back of your head, tangling his fingers in your hair. You let out a Yelp into the kiss and York starts laughing. Wash eventually lets you go and pulls away, both of you left catching your breath.

"That was the cheesiest thing ever, of all time"
