Chapter 3

I know, you guys can kill me later. I haven’t written in forever. My apologies. Anyways, enjoy lovelies

--------------------------------------------------

I finished the spaghetti in record time. I’m not even kidding, that was the best spaghetti I’ve ever had. He’s giving me his recipe for it. I know he will.

After eating, Declan said he wanted to watch a movie.

“What do ya wanna watch, Absters?” He asked.

“Can we please, please, please watch Breaking Dawn? Please, please, please, Decky, please?”

“Not in a million years sweetcheeks, we’re watching the Dark Knight Rises.” He said, with a smirk on his face.

Oh, he didn’t know I liked those types of movies, did he?

“That sounds perfect.” I replied, a smirk forming on my face while his fell

“What?”

“Huh?” I tried confusing him

“You’re okay with watching an action movie?”

“Yeah, I love action movies.” I told him

“You’re the weirdest girl I’ve ever met” Declan said

“A girl can’t like action movies?!” I shouted at him, while throwing a pillow at him

He caught it with ease and grinned at me. “Girls shouldn’t be allowed to like action movies. They’re not up their alley.”

“You’re sexist” I told him

“This, I cannot deny” He said, after laughing

We’re a good amount into the movie and up until this point in time, me and Decky were a good distance apart from each other on the couch.

You see, what happened is, we’re at the part where Batman is in that little underground jail-thingy majjigger, and he’s trying to get out, right? Well, everytime I watch this movie, I get freaked out when he doesn’t use the rope to make sure he won’t fall. When he goes for the scary jump, I always spaz out, so I basically jumped on top of Declan. Not that he had a problem with it.

“Can’t resist me, babe?” He smirked

“Shut up, that part always scares me!” I scolded him

“Uh huh, sure. Whatever you say sweet cheeks, but I know you want me”

I just scowled at him. I couldn’t even reply because I’d be lying if I denied it. He was incredibly sexy…

“Absters, it’s not polite to stare” He smirked

I blushed, I hadn’t realized I was staring at him while I was thinking.

“Oh please, don’t flatter yourself Decky” I replied, sassily

"Hey don't give me that attitude, girl. Not my fault you can't resist my complete sexiness."

"Complete sexiness, huh? You're even more full of yourself than i thought." I said

"No one ever said anything about me not being concided, sweetheart" Declan replied, with dignity.

"Being concided doesn't add to your horrible personality either."

"Ouch, Absters, a knife to the heart. Never thought you'd hurt me like this" He said, fiegning hurt

"Even the least suspectable people can hurt you, Decky," I told him, wisely, "Now i really should be off, we have to go back to hell in the morning"

"You mean, school?" He asked

"Potato, Potatoe same difference" I joked

"You're a wild one, Smithe" He said laughing deeply, as he opened the door for me to leave.

"That is what i like to be referred to as, yes. Now cheerio, Mr. Porter, i have business to take care of" I told him, putting on a business men accent.

He smiled, a genuine, heart-thumping smile "Bye Absters, see you tomorrow"

"Later Decky."

I started up my car and Declan waved as i drove away. Turning a corner, i couldn't help but think of how incredibly easy it would be for a girl like me to fall for a guy like him. easy-going, funny, good looking... he's got anything a girl could want. He seemed to be a little too perfect. As i pulled up in Rainne's drive, i inwardly decided that there was something about Declan that no one knew of, and i was going to find out what that was.

Getting out of my car and walking up to Rae's front porch, i wondered if i would follow through with finiding out what's up with him. I've got a few skeletons in my closet too, more than a few actually. I don't want him finding out about me. So it's decided, i won't pry into his personal life, simply because i don't want him to pry into mine. If he would like to tell me something, so be it. That doesn't make me obligated to tell him anything.

I walked in her house and up to her room. She was sprawled across her bed, snoring loudly. I chuckled quietly, silently backing out of her room and closing the door. I headed to the guest room and flopped onto the bed. I didn't realize how drained i was until i layed down, and eventually, before i knew it, i was drifting off into a peaceful serenity.
