Charlotte Kiyano. Her name endlessly ran through my head, and I was anticipating to actually get to talk to her when she woke up. She seemed so gentle, so fragile, and even I could tell this as I watched her in her vulnerable state of slumber. When was she going to wake up? Master never told us when, but I am awaiting her waking. Yet, I know her fate is not pleasant, especially after what Shizuka had told us last night.

Yawning, I rubbed my eyes and was awoken by the sun as it peeked through my window. I rolled over onto my stomach, burying my face in the soft, feathery goodness of my pillow. I never want to leave this bed, not today, not ever.

As if on cue, someone knocked on my door. Grumbling underneath my breath, I groggily opened the door.

"Oh, hey. Good morning Jag," I said, rubbing my eyes.

"Hey. Can I come in?" He asked, almost urgently.

"Yeah, sure. Guess I'll get up now."

"It's late anyway. Time to get your lazy self up."

" It's literally like eight thirty. I'm exhausted."

"Just get up you bum," Jagger said, shouldering past me. I shut my door and proceeded toward my bed, where I jumped back and landed on. Jagger had found his way to my one-seater sofa and made himself at home.

"What brings you here so early this morning?" I said, playing with the strings on my sleeping shirt. Propping myself up against my headboard, I sat indian style on my bed. Looking over at Jagger, I couldn't help but realize that his eyes were once again green, and not their normal red. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," he asked, scrunching his eyebrows in confusion.

"But your eyes...,"

He sighed and looked away from me, as if this was something that he was constantly being reminded of. He squeezed his eyelids together and then looked dead at me. " I don't know what's been up with them. They've just been changing for no reason. I don't understand it."

"That's so odd bro. Maybe you should ask Shizuka about it."

" I don't think she's noticed it yet. She hasn't mentioned anything."

"But still," I insisted. "It would be good to inform her about it.

He pondered upon this thought for a moment until he uttered. " I know. I just think it's best that we keep this between us for now."

" If that's what you wish," I replied.

"Thank you."

I shook my head, "No no no. No need to thank me. That's why I'm your best friend. I've always got your back."

He shot me a smile as he turned his head toward my window. He gazed out and into the green scenery as I moved over to the corner of my bed. " So what's up? You never come here this early." I said, leaning over the edge of my bed.

" I just wanted to see what you thought," he said glancing over at me.

"About what?" I curiously asked.

"About Charlotte."

I sighed, " We're really going to have this conversation? I almost feel like I'm betraying Shizuka even talking about it."

"Do you really think she will go through with it though?" He asked, concern lacing his every word.. "We've never done anything like this before, and I'm actually kind of nervous. I'm not even sure we have all the technology we actually need for it."

I felt my lips turn into a pout. "Shizuka's smart and determined. I'm sure she'll do it if she really has her heart set on it. I just don't understand how making her into a war machine is going to help us. I mean, she's a human. You just can't take a human and change her into a robot, but that's just my opinion."
