Annabelle.

I ran, no I sprinted through the hallways to Calum and Is meeting spot. He said he'd meet me there, that he'd wait to know my results.
.
Flying out the double doors, my eyes find his nervous, tall body. He's pacing back and forth, his hands occasionally running through his soft hair or fiddling with his school tie. The same way he always did when he was nervous. It made my stomach flutter.
.
I then remembered my whereabouts and what I was doing.
"Calum!" I called, causing his head to snap in my direction.
.
His nervous expression never left as he paced over rapidly.
"Have you opened it?" He questioned, searching my empty hands with his eyes. "What did you get, did you pass?"
.
I grinned wildly and his face crumbled in frustration. "Annabelle!" He pushed.
.
"Okay, okay." I laughed softly, turning to my rucksack and pulling out my results. I handed them over to him and he grasped then straight from me, his eyes scanning the whole thing.
.
I watched in delight as he smiled his adorable smile, and his head jolted back up to face me.
"A b?" He grinned. "Annabelle!" He exclaimed. "This is amazing!"
.
Next thing I knew, I was engulfed into him as he hugged me so tight that he picked me up and squeezed even harder. "I am so proud of you." He told me honestly.

"Thanks, Calum." I smiled. "Really, I could never have done this without you."
.
"Hey no, this is all you. Are you secretly some kind of maths wizz? Was this all an act to become my best friend?" He teased and I beamed up at him.
.
"You got me." I smiled, pretending that him calling me his best friend didn't make me feel as incredible as it did.
.
"You have to show your parents." He gleamed, and I joined him. Admittedly, I couldn't be more excited to show them the great news. Hopefully now they'd be as proud as they were of my sister, Cassidy.
