This isn't an update, I apologise if you thought it was. I just felt the need to express to someone, even if it's only myself, how disgusted I am about what happened in Orlando. How is it 2016 and STILL people can't accept that love is love. It doesn't matter if it's between girl and boy, boy and boy or girl and girl. They all feel the exact same thing for their partner. Even if for whatever reason you don't agree with it, that's fine. You live your own life, but don't come in the way of someone else's happiness. I'm ashamed to be part of this society where people seem to continuously counteract love with hate. There's honestly no reason for it and it makes me so angry, but mostly just upset. Nobody deserves to be murdered, least of all purely for the reason they are a little different to some.
If you are reading this, please take a moment to think about everyone that was sadly taken yesterday and please try to spread love and happiness instead of hate and anger. Try to make the world a better place instead of somewhere even worse. At a time where terrorism looms, surely we should all stand together, gay, bi or straight, it shouldn't matter.
