~Chidori's P.O.V~
After dragging my teammates over to the training fields, we all sat down, listening to Kakashi-sensei talk. "I have decided to enter you in the Chunin exams. This is a choice, you don't have to, but you do all have to enter together," he said, arms crossed over his chest.
Naruto was ecstatic, around and cheering himself on. Sasuke had his arms crossed, but a smile did grace his face. Sakura, on the other hand, was rather uncertain, like she was contemplating whether or not to go. While the others were talking about it, I decided to take a nap on the ground.
~Naruto's P.O.V~
Chidori had fallen asleep while Kakashi-sensei was giving the announcement, arms covering her eyes. After a moment, Chidori shot up from her place on the soft grass, a choked sob escaping her throat.
"Chidori!" Kakashi-sensei gasped, running towards her.
"I'm okay," Chidori said, gasping for air. Her left hand was compressed against her chest, as if to calm herself.
Kakashi-sensei stood beside Chidori, cautiously. "Okay, you all will meet me on the third floor room 302 (A/N: I think that's the room number correct me if i'm wrong), I'll see you all there," Kakashi-sensei said, before he lifted Chidori from the ground and helped her back to their house, I'm guessing.
~Kiba's P.O.V~
I trotted through the streets of Konaha, a smile pasted on my face. I just got told I'm going to be in the Chunin exams, why wouldn't I be happy? I hopped up to Chidori's doorstep, knocking on the door. As I waited for the door, I began admiring the plants that surrounded the small house, obviously Chidori's work. Kakashi-sensei would never have the time to take care of them, or would forget they were there.
Speak of the devil, the door creaked open. "Oh, what is it Kiba?" Kakashi asked, leaning against the frame of the door.
"I wanted to see Chidori," I said, hands buried in my pockets.
"She's in her room," he said, letting me in. I nodded, thanked him, and then went up to Chidori's room. The house's walls were covered in photographs of Chidori and her father, and the further you got up the stairs, the younger they both got. There were even some photos of Kakashi-sensei as a kid. When I arrived at Chidori's door, I knocked, making sure it was heard.
"Who is it?" Chidori asked, the shuffling off her feet audible from the outside.
"It's Kiba," I answered.
"Come in." I opened the door to see Chidori sitting on the floor, drawing something.
"Whatcha' drawin?" I asked, sitting down beside her.
"A flower. What's up?" she asked, looking up at me.
"Oh, yeah, right! I wanted to tell you I'm gonna be in the Chunin exams," I cheered.
"That's great Kiba! I am too!" She smiled. I love her smile, it always makes me feel happy...that's normal, right?
"So, anyway, Kiba, I actually wanted to talk to you too," she said, putting her stuff aside.
"What is it?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me.
"Well, I promised I wouldn't keep anymore secrets from you," she started. "So, I wanted to tell you that I'm actually a Jounin," she whispered the last part.
I was shocked, to say the least. "Why didn't you tell me before?"
"Because I thought you would treat me differently," she said, wringing her hands.
"Why would I treat you differently?" I asked, head tilted to the side.
"Nevermind. So, what do you wanna do?" she asked.
"Dunno," I said. Then I heard a bark from Akamaru.
"No, I don't wanna do that," I answered him.
"Do what?" Chidori asked.
"Akamaru wanted to go out into the forest and play hide-and-seek. But, I remember what happened last time we played that, so yeah," I said rubbing the back of my neck.
"Yeah, that was not a good day," Chidori chuckled.
~Flashback~
Chidori and I had run into the forest together. We were hiding from each other, taking turns as we went along. It was finally Chidori's turn again, and she decided to hide inside a tree. Akamaru and myself caught on to her scent rather quickly, instantly following it. When we had caught up to her, she decided to move somewhere else, leading to a massive hunt throughout the forest.
Chidori was laughing, Akamaru was having a blast, and I was smiling like a madman. That was, until Chidori lost her step and fell from a tree. She tumbled down a hill, and landed right on her arm. When Kakashi-sensei found out, like the worried father he is, he scolded both of us, myself more than her.
~End of Flashback~
Most of the scolding was to me, telling me that should have known better than to take her to such a dangerous place. That was not the best day for Chidori, nor I.
"So, what else could we do?" Chidori asked.
"I could start thinking of a nickname for you," I suggested. "How about Chi?"
"No, no nicknames," she sighed.
"Alright, so what should we do?" I asked myself.
"We could....uhhhhhh, we could set someone's house on fire!" Chidori suggested.
"No, why would I even consider that?" I asked, sweat-dropping.
"Naruto would," she pouted, crossing her arms.
"Well, I'm not stupid like Naruto, so no. We are not going to set someones house on fire," I chuckled, meaning for it to be a joke.
"Naruto's not stupid," she growled, eyes darkening.
"He's so immature, though. All he does is mess with people. I'm not saying that living in the clouds, dreaming of being Hokage, isn't great, but he should really grow up," I said, shrugging.
"Seriously?" she sneered, pushing me out of her room. The door slammed, giving me my queue to run. I had messed up, bad.
(A/N: God, that was the crappiest fight that I have ever seen! I didn't know what else they could fight about besides their friends. Damn it, I suck. Anyway, I hope you all have great days!)
