~Chidori's P.O.V~
After a few months of traveling around, dad and I found ourselves heading back to the village just in time for Christmas. Dad and I dropped off all of our stuff, and I went to see Kiba to ask about the party. Every Christmas all the teams from our graduating year have a party, all of our friends, I mean. We all pick a someone's house to have the party at and everyone brings something to either drink, eat, or play.
I saw Kiba sitting by the river and walked to him. We talked for a bit, catching up on the few months I was gone. I found out the party was going to be at Ino's house his year, so I thanked Kiba and lifted myself off the ground. "Well, I have to get back to my house, but I'll see you and the others at the party, okay?" I said, walking away.I got home and started baking some dessert. I know everyone is going to end up bringing some kind of dessert, but it's Christmas, who cares? Announcing my departure to my father, I made my way to Ino's house, carrying a container of dessert and presents. When I arrived at her house, I discovered that I could not knock on the door with my hands, so I decided to just kick it. She answered the door, a smile on her face. "I brought dessert!" I smiled back.
"Great!" she cheered and dragged me inside. I put the container of sweets on the table and sat on the couch. After a while, Naruto came up to me.
"Hey, how's it been going?" he yelled.
"Good! I think you should lower your voice though," I said, smiling.
"Oh yeah, sorry," he chuckled.
"So, have you and Kiba hooked up yet?" he asked smirking.
"W-what?" I asked, startled. I could feel the heat rising in my face.
"Nevermind. Did you bring a present for everyone?" he asked.
"Yep, how about you?" I asked.
"Almost everyone," he sighed, looking at Sasuke.
"Is this really still going on?" I sighed disappointedly. (A/N: Yes, in this Sasuke never left.)
"Whatever," Naruto pouted.
I shook my head and looked around the room. Sasuke, Sakura, Ino, Shikamaru, Kiba, Sai, Lee, and Shino were present at the moment, mingling with others around the house. Naruto was also here, but he was with me, so it doesn't count as mingling. All of those people added up, plus I is 10, I think. Not a lot of people, but that's what there is. I didn't like it very crowded either, so I wasn't complaining. I get up to grab a drink of water and walk back to the couch. Then, incidentally, I run into Sasuke. Why did these things happen to me? "Sorry about that," I said.
"It's fine, just watch where you're going next time," Sasuke smiled a little.
What the heck? Sasuke smiled. What has this world come to? I smiled back nervously and walked away. I dismissed it as puberty finally getting the better of him, and continued on with the night. When everyone had arrived, we all gathered in a small circle.
"So, we're going to give the gifts now. Everyone get your stuff!" Ino shouted happily, clapping her hands together. The gift giving didn't last too long, feelings of gratitude echoing through the house. Everyone had disbursed, going back to their previous groups.
Kiba walked up to me after talking to Hinata and Sakura. "So, how was the mission?" he asked.
"Not that interesting, actually. But I did miss everyone here," I said, looking around at everyone having fun and laughing.
"Yeah, so I wanted to ask you something," Kiba said, his face tinting pink.
"What is it?" I asked.
