A heavy grey cloud suffocated me as I trudged to college, the whole world pressing down on me. My hair wasn't straight and my eyeliner was uneven but I didn't really care

Having a boyfriend was painful, but most importantly pointless. All boys ever want me for, is séx - or the other way round. I'm not saying I'm the hit and quit type of girl but I want someone perfect for me.

I'm sick of it. I want to make my life worth something to someone who won't play me like a video game

"Hey" a muffled grumble from behind

I peered over my shoulder to see Aaron, my best friend from kindergarten

"Hey" I mumbled back picking at my black nail varnish and flicking it on to the pavement

"Somethings up" he said throwing an arm around my shoulders "you would usually be way more excitable" his brown fringe spread across his forehead; looking down into his brown eyes that comforted me

"I'm fine, it's just" I stopped and adjusted my backpack "Jack was such a díck to me, but the worst thing is I actually liked him"

"Why are boys nowadays such fück boys?" Aaron hugged me half heartedly

"Tell me about it" my eyes were tired and I could barley walk after staying up until 3am trying to sort things with Jack, which clearly never worked

"I know what'll cheer you up" a grin spread across Aaron's face as we walked through the doors

"What?"

"5sos are performing here next month" he said turning me to face me, the grin still on his face

"Yeah, so, my mom will never give me the money for tickets because she sucks áss" I replied bitterly, rolling my eyes at the reminder

"That's why I already bought our tickets!" he exclaimed causing my scowl to turn into a smile, I pulled him into a tight embrace

"Thankyou so much Aaron!"

It was just 3 weeks until the concert, 3 fücking weeks!

It was 3pm and I was walking home. I shoved my headphones in my ears to block out the world and listen to music

My playlist was like séx to my ears; Halsey, Fall Out Boy, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 and of course, 5 Seconds Of Summer

Noisy cars and buses passed by, many abandoned houses stood alone in the crisp, Autumn air and school children huddled in groups playing football games; but to me it was all silent

I made my way up my driveway, then through my yard, then into my house. A strong garlic smell hit my nose, instantly making me hungry

"Is that you Ariana?" my mom called from the kitchen

"Yeah it's me" I called back removing my shoes

My mom was stood in an apron, her brown hair tied back with a wooden spoon in her hand

"It's spaghetti" she said spinning round on her heel before smiling, she's so beautiful

"Okay" I smiled throwing my bag onto the table before plopping down on our sofa

My phone buzzed in my pocket, it was Aaron

"Hello?" Aaron called from the other end, loud music in the background

"Hello? Aaron?" I blocked my other ear, in hope that I could hear him properly

"I'm at a club, there's really good bands from all over the states! It's free! Come on please?" he pleaded loudly
