Alone With A Wolf [On Hold]

Chapter 2

-Sydney's P.O.V-

"Sid, how could you possibly get lost in a forest you've been through like, 50 times?" Annabelle asked

"I don't know. But it was getting dark so that might've been a reason" I told her as we sat at a bench and waited for Tiana to come

I saw the boy that helped me the night before walking past. He must've noticed me because he looked at me and smiled

"How come he just looked and smiled at you like that?" Belle asked

"I don't know. But I recognise him..." I took a sip of my coca-cola from the bottle "...He's the lad that helped me"

We got up and followed him, our footsteps in synch, but quiet as we followed him towards the forest

"He's off into the forest" She whispered

"Nor, you don't say" I said sarcastically. I noticed the boy wasn't a boy, but a wolf instead

"He's.. He's a wolf" She whimpered

I jogged off infront and grabbed a rock, climbed up a tree and threw it at the wolf/boy which made his stop and turn around. I jumped out of the tree and noticed he was a boy again

He started running but I was too fast and caught up with him

"Hey, I.. Uh.. I didn't get your name last night" I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly and looked at the floor

"I'm Gaberial. Gaberial Taylor. But everyone call me Gabe." He said "What's yours?"

"Sydney-Louise Young" I replied

"Can I call you Sydney?"

"Yeah. I hate my middle name anyway"

"Is that your friend, hiding in the trees?"

"Yes. She's quite shy. Her name's Annabelle but we all call her Belle. My other best-friend is called Tiana but we call her Tia. We were supposed to wait at the park but then we.. I mean, I got extracted."

"Where the hell were you?" Tiana asked as she walked up to me "And who's he?"

"I was here, and he's the lad that helped me yesterday" I told her before turning to Gaberial "She's always rude with new people"

"Oh." She grunted before sticking her arm out "I'm Tiana-Demitra Leah-Louise Kindleson. But you can call me Tia"

"I'm Gaberial. Everyone call me Gabe, though" He shook her hand "it's very nice to meet you, Tia"

"You too" She smiled "Sid, Kieran wants to know if you're still up to coming to ours, tonight"

"Yep" I said before Annabelle finally got the courage to come over to us

"Hi. I'm Belle" She said to Gaberial before hiding behind Tia

"It's lovely to meet you, Belle" He told her

We all walked through the forest until we got into the clearing

"Do you know where to go from here?" Gaberial asked

"Yeah. I think I got lost yeterday because it was dark. But it was such a coincidance my dad happened to be on his break and coming for a walk"

"Yeah. It was such a coincidence" He chuckled nervously

"So, uh, not to be awkward or anything, but were you a wolf, earlier?" Annabelle asked him

"No. No he wasn't Belle. You were just seeing things, again" I said, slapping her arm lightly
