Chapter 5

[*Sydney's POV*]

As I turned around the corner, to go back the safe way with Adele, the only Rogue I could trust grabbed my wrist, tight and spun me around with force to face him

"Sydney, I told you to stay away" he growled

"Jayce" I whimpered as his grip tightened  "J-Jayce St-stop. You're h-hurting m-me"

"Good" He growled

I tried turning to face Adele, but I knew how strong Jayce's grip can get. He'd be able to break my wrist just by holding it

"Jayce, w-why are you h-here?" I asked

"JAYCE!" His bestfriend, Jason yelled, and Jayce let go of me

"I'll deal with you later" Jayce turned to Jason and grunted "What?"

"Charlotte is going to chop my balls off!" he yelled and Adele couldn't stop laughing, I shot her a glare and she sobered up

"Who're theese beuties?" Jason asked, I could feel a growl coming from my wolf, Poppy and knew shit was going down

'Poppy?' Adele's wolf, Chloe asked 'Poppy, what's happening?'

'Chloe, get out of here. Go get my dad. NO! scrap that, get Sam'

'But-' Chloe was going to protest

'Chloe.' Poppy ordered

'Ok' Chloe moaned, and Adele shifted into her wolfand ran off, before Jayce or Jason could get her

"So you're Sydney, are you?" Jason asked, brushing my cheek with his thumb and I forced my eyes shut

"Why would you care?" I asked, my voice was kinda squealing

"Because then I can tell Aaron to tell Lily how dangerous you are"

"THAT'S NOT TRUE! SHE WOUOLDN'T EVEN HURT A FLY!" Jayce shouted, pushing Jason away and suddenly becoming protective of me

'Raymond you have A LOT of explaining to do' Poppy growled to Raymond, Jayce's wolf

'I'll tell you later, Popsicle. Speaking of that, you're freezing' Raymond replied

'I know.'

"What the hell? She's the enimy, you don't just defend her" Jason accused Jayce

"Who said he's protective of me? He hates my bloody guts." I mumbled "Don't you, Jayce?"

"I.. uh... I... yeah" He mumbled

'good dog' Poppy muttered to Raymond

"Good. Now come on. I need to hide from Charlotte." Jason said to Jayce and began running off

"Don't make me lie about that, ever again. You know I have a crush on you" Jayce whispered, before disapearing around the corner leving me stood there alone

I dragged my feet towards the docks and didn't really care what anybody thought of me

I'm Sydney-Louise.. Wait, is my last name Young anymore?

I hope so.

I sat on the edge of the docks with my feet dangling in the cold water, as I watched the boats go in and out of the docks.

This is how I relax

"Sydney" Sam whispered, sitting next to me "Sid what happened?"

"I'm fine, now. I was just a bit scared when Jason..." I trailed off

None of them apart from Adele know who Jayce and Jason are

"Who's Jason? Wait, he's on a Rogue is he?" Sam sniffed the air, then me "He is, isn't he?"
