HARRY'S POV

"So, you wanted to talk?" I said, trying to make conversation. Liam didn't seem too happy and I knew that this couldn't go well just by the look on his face.

"So, that interview was quite interesting, don't you guys think?" he said, casually. I knew he was feeling anything but casual right now.

"Here we go..." Louis scoffed, rolling his eyes. I wasn't going to say anything.

"You know you're gonna catch such hell for that." Liam told us. I knew that.

"For just trying to get his point across?" Louis asked. "They'll probably edit it anyways, just like they do with any other candid statements we make. Hell, I'm shocked we're not scripted---"

"And if they don't edit it? It was national television, you can't be like that on national television, let alone in the public eye." Liam scolded.

"Well, it happened, so no going back now." Louis sassed. I still hadn't said anything, but I knew one thing - we definitely were gonna catch hell for the interview, it was inevitable. And I don't think I was ready to face that yet.

"Louis, this is serious, you can't sass everyone all the time."

"Better than kissing everyone's ass, I think. Not naming names, but hint, hint, that's you." Louis said, pointing at him and tilting his head off to the side. I sighed and then looked at them.

"Guys, seriously, can we be civil for the last five minutes of this car ride? This meeting is already stressful enough, I think we're all just stressed and it's getting to us. Let's just calm down, yeah?" I suggested, finally speaking up since they started their ridiculous bickering. Louis sighed and sat back in his seat and Liam continued to drive. It was silent until we got to the management office.

When we walked in, Niall and Zayn were waiting for us in the lounge. Zayn stood and walked over, then Niall.

"You guys ready?" Niall asked. Louis wasn't saying anything and Liam silently nodded. I guess it was up to me to make this seem okay right now.

"Yeah." I said, giving them a smile as I nodded. Zayn touched my shoulder as an attempt to be comforting and Niall eyed Liam and Louis with caution. Then we all made our way to Nick's office and Zayn knocked on the door frame, causing Nick to turn his attention towards us. He smiled and gestured for us to come in and take a seat on the couch.

Niall and Zayn took the ends and Liam and Louis decided to make the best decision ever and sit next to each other in between them. I took a seat off to the side, not wanting to be caught up on whatever was bound to happen during our time here.

"So Liam, I trust that the interview went well?" Nick started, smiling at us. Alright, this was going well so far... Liam nodded and smiled back.

"Yeah, it went well, I think." he told him. Or should I say, he lied. This was still going well. Or at least I thought so until Nick's smile went away and he turned his monitor towards us. I swallowed hard and ran my hands through my hair.

"I would say otherwise." he deadpanned. "Let's take a look, shall we?"

He clicked play and a clip started and it was the part of the interview where they asked us about Larry. I tugged on my shirt collar and glanced over at the rest of the guys. I looked back at the monitor and just started spacing out a bit. I snapped back into reality when Nick started talking.

"Harry? Louis?" he said, looking at us both when he said our names. I genuinely wasn't sure of what to say, so I just looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"You gonna explain or do I have to just go off of inference?"

I wiped my hands on my thighs nervously and bit my lip, and Louis looked over at me, but didn't say anything. "What are we talking about again?"

"Interview, Harry. You know, the one where you got snappy for no complete reason. What happened to keep your composure at all---"

"What happened to privacy and personal things are personal for a reason? What happened to me not having to give every detail of my entire life to some random interviewer I may or may not ever see again? What ever happened to that? Me and Louis may be dating. That's not their business, and if we say we don't wanna talk about it, why should we be forced to? So we like to kiss and shag on occasion---"

"Harry!" Zayn scolded, "You don't have to do this."

"Yes I do, because no one ever listens to me and then when I get like this, everyone decides to care."

"You don't have to get like this for anyone to care, we care without all this nonsense." Liam interjected. Him talking made me a little madder, because who even asked him.

"Why is it nonsense, because it's Harry? Sweet little angelic Harry who everyone loves and Larry Stylinson is a load of bullshit that should never happen and he should tell the world that? That's not how it works." Louis snapped at him.

Niall was just sitting in silence with Zayn, not even interjecting except for Zayn's seven words. I don't know what the hell is even going on anymore, I thought this was about the interview and me.

"It's nonsense because he wasn't fucking like this before you came along!" Liam said, standing up. Oh my, why is this happening...

"Before I came along? What are you talking about?" Louis said, seeming more amused than anything in the moment.

"He wasn't snappy and snarky and he was sweet - he's the baby of the band for crying out loud. The only thing he had to worry about was the normal shit talk and the womanizer rumours. Now, you've just---"

"Let me stop you right there, because that's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard." Louis said, standing up too. He stepped to Liam and I sighed heavily. This fight was inevitable.

"Louis, Liam, sit down." Nick insisted. Neither listened though.

"He's always had it in him, so I'm so sorry that you and everyone else was oblivious to the matter and didn't give him the time of day and it really does take for it to get like this in order for anyone to give a shit. He's the baby of the band? Newsflash, Liam, babies. Grow. Up. He's growing up and I'm sorry that you, Daddy Direction, can't handle your precious angelic son growing some balls and speaking up for himself."

"Shut up." Liam said, shoving him hard. I looked at Nick.

"Boys, I said sit." Nick repeated. But he was too late because Louis had already slapped him and Liam was holding his face. Louis was small, but that slap sounded like it hurt like a bitch.

"Louis!" Nick yelled. "You can't do that."

"I just did."

"I think I'm gonna go." I told them, standing up. I honestly couldn't be in this room anymore, so I got up and walked out, keeping my head down as I made my way to the doors. I guess I was walking since Liam had the keys to his car and I didn't take any other mode of transportation.

On the way out, I bumped into someone and looked up to see Taylor. I groaned and she scoffed.

"Nice to see you too, Harry."

"Why'd you have to say that?"

"Say what?" she asked seeming genuinely confused. I sighed, wanting to cry from frustration.

"That you broke up with me because of me and Louis. Do you know what it's doing to us right now? Everyone's getting fed up and we're gonna fall apart."

"It's not my fault you can't keep it together. I only spoke the truth."

"They ever teach you to lie?" I asked her, genuinely curious and desperate for a topic change. I sat in one of the chairs in the lounge and she walked backward towards the door.

"They taught me to speak the ugly truth in the classiest way." she shrugged and with that, she was gone.

Her words stuck with me. They stuck with me for a while.
