"If two people are really in love, they will find their way back."

LOUIS

I stood there still when I heard the door slam shut. I was frozen. It's not as if I wanted Harry to leave, because if I had the choice I wouldn't have kicked him out.

But, Zayn....

Zayn was my best mate. He's like a brother to me.

And I don't want to lose Zayn, because I knew him longer than I knew Harry, which I haven't even known Harry for a day.

I've knew Zayn since we were kids.

He was eight, and I was nine.

And if Zayn didn't want me to have Harry in my house, then I don't want Harry in my house. If Zayn doesn't want me to even look at Harry, then I won't look at Harry.

And that's exactly what Zayn wanted.

But, I had a feeling Zayn was making a mistake, that I was making a mistake for listening to Zayn.

The thoughts came rushing back that happened just seconds ago, when Zayn was in the kitchen, ordering me to kick Harry out.

Then the flashback came back from what happened.

I was just about to make a move on Harry, when suddenly Zayn rushed in.

"What the hell mate?!" He exclaimed.

I dropped my hands from Harry's face, and my eyes went straight to Zayn. My eyes didn't fully leave Harry, though. I watched him through the corner of my eye, and what I saw on his face.... Was hurt.

"Uh, Zayn! What are you doing here?" I asked, awkwardly itching the back of my head.

"Just came to check on you, you was in a rush to leave school. And now I see why." His eyes went from my face to Harry's, Zayn had a disgusted look on his face.

"It's not what you think, Zayn."

"Oh, yeah. Silly me to think you was going to kiss the new kid. I mean, I always put my hands on people's face, that I haven't even known for a day, and look into their eyes all lovey dovey." He said, putting his back against the wall.

"Bull shit, you always do that to every random girl you meet at the club." I said.

Zayn ignored my comment, "I need to talk to you." he continued, "Alone." He said, still staring at Harry with disgust in his face.

I put my hand on Harry's back, and in response he jumped back, I'm guessing I scared him. "Harry, go sit in the living room while I speak with Zayn."

Harry nodded quickly, and rushed to the living room without saying a word.

Zayn closed the door, finally, and began speaking.

"Louis, why are you hanging with that kid?"

"He had to stay at my house, his mum and my mum are spending the day shopping." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Well, I don't want you speaking with him. Or seeing him." He said, also putting his arms over his chest.

I laughed, thinking he wasn't being serious. "You sound like those dads from TV shows and movies, telling his daughter she isn't allowed to see her boyfriend."

He had a serious face, "I know, I know. But this is a bit different. This is your best friend telling you not to see your boyfriend."

I gave him a confused look, "Boyfriend? Me and him have only knew each other for a day, well, not even a day. We're not dating." I rambled on out of embarrassment.

Zayn sighed, "Okay, whatever. But, Louis, I don't want you speaking or seeing him again. He just seems like he's no good for you. And as your best friend, I am telling you what's good and what isn't good, which that boy isn't good for you."

"Is nothing I do ever good for you?" Was what I wanted to say, but the words just couldn't come out. Instead, a heavy sigh did. "Okay."

"Good." Zayn said, patting my back.

We stood there in silence for a few minutes, until Zayn started speaking again (sadly.)

"Aren't you going to kick him out?" He asked.

I gave yet another confused look. "Kick him out?"

"Do I really have to go over this again?" He said, putting his hands over his chest, sighing.

That's when I remembered him saying he doesn't want me seeing or speaking with him again.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

Zayn smiled, and took his iPhone out. "Well, well, well. Look at the time! I outta get going." He said, opening the door. "Bye, Tommo! I'll see you at school tomorrow!" He said, before shutting the door.

I slowly walked into the living room. I was angry, Harry seemed like a nice guy, and I think Zayn doesn't know what he's saying. He's misjudging Harry like I did, if he just sits with him for a moment he'll enjoy his company, even though he doesn't speak much.

But... I don't want to make Zayn angry. Even though I may be older than him, he could still throw a couple of punches.

I sat down on the couch, opposite of Harry.

I heard footsteps coming near, and then I heard speaking.

"Louis, you okay?" He asked, in a sweet, defenseless tone.

I was overwhelmed with all the pressure Zayn had given me.

So instead of giving Harry a reply...

I gave him a push.

And it was not a friendly one.

I looked at Harry, wanting to apologize, but the words just wouldn't come out.

Instead, "Fuck off." did.

It took Harry a few seconds to reply, "E-excuse me?" He said, blinking repeatedly.

I stood up and rubbed my face, "Just get out." I yelled, hoping he would just get out so I wouldn't have to speak with him anymore and I could get this over with.

"What? But I have to stay here until mum gets back!" Harry said, standing up.

"Get the fuck out of my house!" I said in an angry, yelling tone, once again.

Harry's mouth opened, but no words came out.

He turned around, and walked out of the house, and that's when I knew I made the biggest mistake ever.
