The same girl I had seen in two or three of my dreams was standing infront of me with a smirk that could tic anyone off. Her pale, white skin, dirty blonde hair, and huge blue eyes was exactly how I dreamed it: except I thought she was just a figment of my imagination. Matty stands in the same spot and stares at the girl who's back was facing him. She laughs to herself as if she was watching his reaction, that's when she turned slowly exposing herself to him. His mouth hangs open lost for words causing her to grin. She swiftly turns around and speaks up. "Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm Amelia." her evil smirk growing with every confused, blank look I give. How is this possible...she's supposed to be..gone. Both me and Matt were staring at her as if she was a ghost back from the dead. Matt's mouth starts to move, but no noise came out.

"Amelia, how are yo-" he finally speaks. "I thought they took you."

"Well, I had my ways."

"Why are you even here! You left, you no longer wanted me in your life and I definitely don't want you in mine."

"Ouch, well I missed you too."

She walks over to Matt opening her arms out so that he could hug her. But he steps back and gives her a skeptical look which says that he knew what she was saying wasn't true. She puts her hands up in defence.

"Okay, okay. You got me, I wanted to see your skank of the month. You know words get around babe."

"First of all, it's not like that at all. Second, skank? You don't even know her! Besides you were one of those skanks two years ago."

While Matt and this 'Amelia' were over here having an argument, I just thought of what Matt had said "It's not like that at all." You see, Amelia being right infront of me gave me enough of an headache alone, but now I know what Matt really thinks between us: that's if there is an us. It just added onto the massive throbbing headache. I think to myself while Matt just blows his head off at someone who could care less. Her bony arms were crossed against her chest as she stood there, slightly slouched. Me being me, examines her face. She was really pretty. You can tell though that she had countless nights filled with alcohol, drugs and lack of sleep which leaves me to wonder what she does with her life now.

"Amelia you seriously need to understand that breaking into my flat was unintentional."

"It was my grand entrance, because we both know if I had knocked on the door you wouldn't have let me in."

"Well, I'm pretty sure anyone who thinks rationally would do the same."

"Whatever Matt, look there is an actual reason why I came back..." she looks down and picks at her nails briefly then takes a breath. "I need a place to stay, just for the month. I'll clean, cook, anything you want! You name it. I just really need this."

Matt's face was priceless, he looked as if he wanted to laugh but wanted to yell at her once again. If I were in Matthew's place I guess I would also have mixed emotions about this too. All he did was love her, then in return she ran away and gave him heartbreak. Now she's expecting to live here? I think not.

"So that's how you do things around here? You act like a brat and when you need something you pull off the innocent act. Or stamp on people's hearts and except something in return? I hate to break it to you, but I think you came to the wrong place."

"Matt, look I didn't mean to do those things. I didn't mean to come off in that way. What happened back then? I was young and the time wasn't right! There were people after me and you expect me to act as if everything was fine and peachy?"

His face goes pale then gultiness comes all over his face. Is he seriously falling for this? She turns towards me and gives me an apologizing frown which quickly turns into a smirk causing my eyes to go wide. It was now my time to finally speak up.

"Matty, you're really going to believe this? Listen to what you just said, she expects something in return after hurting you?"

"Ari, she's right. The state we were in wasn't time for being lovey dovey. She was only 17 at the time too."

"So what now? She lives with us and has to hide with us everywhere we go?"

He sighs then nods, "She's been through enough, it's the least we could do."

We? Now he had me dying of laughter. This better be some type of plan to get her off guard, but sadly it wasn't. I stare at Matt then back at Amelia and kept doing that. She stands there bored, tracing the tattoo on her wrist. "So it's official then?" she asks to Matt. He nods slightly causing her to run to him and gives him a huge hug. He slightly returns it, but looked more awkward then ever. My chances with Matt are screwed. Maybe they've always been screwed, but this just shows me that it's never going to happen. What if she tries to win him back? Or worse, he falls for her once again. All I know is that instead of going to hell, hell came to me.

The ink of my pen refused to write, great. Guess it's time to stop nagging about my day to my journal. I sat in silence only to hear Amelia giggling. The fact that Matt and Amelia were just on the balcony having a smoke and a catch up just made me feel sick. He offered me a cigarette and pleaded me to come and meet her and to see how lovely she is. Or at least he says that she's lovely. Here I am sitting on Matt's bed not doing anything about this. Why am I in Matt's room? Well, that little brat had to sleep somewhere but I suggested the couch. Or something more comfortable for her, the balcony. Of course Matt thought I was being childish and suggested my room, and no way was I going to share a room with her and so now I'm stuck with Matty. It's not bad at all that I'm sharing a room with him except I lost all my privacy. Shit.

"Haha, well I'm quite glad you're back now Amelia. I feel a little more complete." Matt says with joy. My freezing body shivered under the covers of Matt's bed as I overheard every word of their conversation. It's funny how he thinks I'm asleep, he's free to say whatever he wants just to piss me off even more. She broke in around 6:30pm and it's now 11:53pm. They've seriously been talking for five hours. You know I wouldn't mind being caught by Matt's company any time now.

"You too, Matthew." she says in the same tone. There was a silence which made me worried slightly. Stop thinking of the worst, they're probably doing some friendly handshake. I mentally laugh at my stupidity but it then becomes a serious one as I hear the door knob twist open. He takes off his clothes, keeping on his boxers then climb in. He faces me.

"Ariana, we both know you're not asleep." he chuckles and grabs my shoulder so now I'm facing him. I slowly pry my eyes open and scoff. "Don't you feel proud?" he smiles, then it disappears. "Seriously, you're still upset about the whole Amelia thing."

"No. Matt, I'm not."

"Yes, you obviously are. Look at the way you're acting."

"So if it's so obvious then why did you ask?"

"No need to get smart here."

"You seriously expect me to act as if everything were fine? I think we actually need someone here with a functioning brain."

"What are you trying to say? That I made a stupid decision, I thought about it Ariana and my brain was working great."

"Yeah? Well In fact mines working great too at the moment."

I pushed myself out of the bed grabbing the pillow and the thin blanket out of the bed and stormed out of the bedroom. "No need to be immature here Ariana!" he says from the room. I walk towards the couch and collapse. It's not even been a day and it's already been hell....
