What is this pain I feel in my chest?

Oh look you've torn me open again

How did I let you get so close?

Somehow this doesn't feel right

You broke a piece of my heart I never knew you had

You turned it to sand before my very eyes

Now this bleeding just won't stop.

How do I know you didn't mean those those things you uttered in the dark

Am I so easy to forget?

I thought I had your heart

Though I doubt you knew but you have mine to

Why won't this bleeding stop?

Now we're at odds and I'd rather bleed to death in your arms 

Than ever leave your side. I can only hurt so long before I go completely numb.

I die a little more every day hoping things would be okay
