Grason sighed. It was noon, and Drake still hadn't woken up. "Ok," Miya said finally, "I'm going to go wake Drake up." I nodded. "That's probably a good idea. We have to leave soon." Miya ran over to were Drake was sleeping. I turned to Hazel. "Thanks for coming with us." She nodded. "I've haven't seen another Mage since I was little." She said, looking at Drake. "It must be cool, seeing a another Mage again." She sighed. "Drake is unlike any other Mage I have ever met. He's just so....different." I frowned. "How is he so different?"  "Well, his magic is purple, for one thing. That's  not normal. Also, he seems almost too powerful or something. I don't....I don't even think he is a Mage." I frowned. "What do you mean, he's not a Mage?" Before she could answer, Miya screamed, "drake! Wake up!" I glanced over. "He still not up?" Miya's voice shook. "Somethings wrong. He- he won't wake up!"

I ran over. Drake just appeared to be sleeping, but when I shook him, I got no response. Miya was right. He won't wake up! "What happened?" I demanded. "Nothing happened! That's what's so confusing." I frowned, gazing at Drakes unconscious body. Suddenly he gasped and sat straight up. "Drake! Are you ok?" I asked. He nodded. He seemed...preoccupied. His expression was so full of pain...

⚡️

I ran over to Drake. "Drake! You nearly gave me a heart attack! Never do that again!" He looked confused. "Do what?" But his voice shook when he said it. "You wouldn't wake up!" Miya said, her voice lined with worry. "You've been sleeping all morning." Grason added. "Oh." He sighed. "No." Drake said suddenly. "Umm..." Miya said, looking confused. Suddenly Drakes body lurched like he had been electrocuted, and he sat up taller. "Sorry Drake." Drake said in a voice that wasn't his own. "Ahh!" Miya yelped, jumping away from him. "Who are you?" Grason demanded, pointing his sword at Drake. Drake held up his hands. "Relax Gray. Armen knows who I am." I do? I must have looked pretty confused, because he added, "don't you recognize my voice, little brother?" Little brother?!? His voice did sound familiar... Then it hit me. "C-Collin?!?!" I stammered. "Collin?" Grason echoed, eyes wide. Drake/Collin nodded. "W-what are you doing in Drake?" I asked, shocked. "I've always have." He replied. "What do you mean by that?" I demanded. "Armen...I'm so sorry. About everything. I've been trying to help Drake. Herobrine is still in his head." My eyes widened. "How did you get n Drake in the first place?" He sighed. "Armen, did you ever wonder were Drake came from?"  I nodded. "What's that have to do with anything?" He sighed. "Armen, I created Drake to protect you." "What?!?!" I demanded. Collin/Drake looked down. "He didn't want to tell you because he thought it might affect your friendship. He cares about you Armen. A lot. He didn't want you to start thinking he was faking being your friend. He wasn't. He is your friend."

I shook my head. "This is a lot to take in." I muttered. Grason and Miya didn't look suprised. "You knew?" I guessed. They nodded. "We found your brothers journal in The Magic Library," Grason said softly, "that's when we found out. That was when Drake discovered it too. We didn't know your brothers conscious was actually in him. But we knew about the humanity thing." My head was spinning. This entire time, my brother had been inside my best friend. I blinked, suddenly wondering what Drake thought about all this. "What about Drake?" I asked. Drake/Collin shrugged. "You can ask him yourself, you know. I'm going to give him back his body now. Don't be mad at him. He's not as strong as you think." Drakes body lurched again, and Drake was back. He stared at us, silently daring us to say anything. "I'm going to pack my stuff." Drake muttered, walking past us and up too his bag.

🔮

I blinked back tears as I stuffed my stuff into the bag. All the images running through my head...they were disturbing. Very disturbing. All this time I was fighting my father. At this point, I don't know what to think. I wasn't a Mage. I was a devil. "Drake?" Armen said softly behind me. "What?" I muttered. "You ok?" I sighed. "I don't know." I replied. Armen put a hand on my shoulder. "Your my best friend. That's never going to change." I blinked. "Thanks Armen. Could you give me a minute?" I asked. He nodded and walked away. I sighed.
