Water. The Ocean is deep like my emotion, Plentiful like my imagination. Rivers, fast like my ideas, slow like my speed in the mornings, meandering like my thoughts. Streams, clear like my mind. Seas, locked in like my resolve. These are the waters I live in. The waters that are part of me. I am a water dragon, filled with the qualities of water.
I feel as though dragons are misunderstood. They are often portrayed as fire breathing beast who want nothing more than to slaughter and kill as many things as they can. While I do admit, I have days where I want everything to die, I'm not always like that. Dragons can be empathetic, compassionate, and wise creatures. After all, when your soul is as old as mine, you have lots of wisdom and compassion to go around.
That's not too say that dragons are always contemplative and solemn. As well as having our moody temperamental days, we know how to have fun. We enjoy comedies as well as dramas, acting games instead of chess. All in all, It's safe to say us dragons are complicated creatures. Especially when you're really just a teenage girl, wishing she could fly away.
