As a child, Simon enjoyed destroying his artwork, like cardboard cutouts and sandcastles. The reason is because his father had left him and his mother never left her room, causing him to enjoy the feel of despair or pain.
Simon also enjoyed hurting the people he loved. Punching Bodil was one and he even almost killed him.
Simon also enjoyed hurting himself, by making a path of Legos at night, and in the morning he would forget and step on them in the morning.
