"Ashton!" Luke shrieked, running away from the honey haired boy. They were attempting to build a gingerbread house and Ashton thought it would be a brilliant idea to smear endless amount of icing all over Luke's face.
"My face is so sticky! Ugh, it's so gross." Luke complained, grabbing a washcloth from the kitchen drawer and wetting it so he could get the icing off his skin.
"This can't be the first time you've had a white sticky substance on your face." Ashton chuckled, watching the way the blonds cheeks heated up.
"Shut up!" Luke grumbled, slightly embarrassed. It's just Ashton teasing him, but he'd rather not talk about those types of things while he's baking.
"Fine, fine. Let's finish putting the roof on and then we can make it look like a picture perfect home."
Luke scoffed, knowing their gingerbread house making skills lacked a lot of formation. "It's not even decorated, yet it already looks like someone sat on it.
"Don't be so critical." Ashton rolled his eyes, he knew Luke hated doing these types of things around Christmas. Luke loved decorating and throwing Christmas parties, not baking. Ashton knew all of this, but it took Luke's mind off Michael for a short while and that was enough to let Ashton know he'll okay for a while longer.
