Character Profile 3: Samuel Zhang

Right. We're on to Sammy.

Okay, how am going to explain this character?

Well, Sammy was always going to the quiet guy who was kind and caring. He would be a great friend and basically the leader when no one else stepped up.

I really like writing with Sammy's character. Authors always say that 'oh, my character was really good to write with, they're so amazing and perfect!' But that's not really how I see it.

Sammy is one of those cliché, awkward nerds. He's sweet, kind, caring and adorable. His personality is easy to work with, and how he reacts to others changes his thoughts completely.

Overall, Sammy is one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy his profile.

Interviewer: So, Samuel, how are you?

Sammy: Good, thanks. But I prefer Sammy instead of Samuel.

Interviewer: Right, sorry about that.

Sammy: That's okay.

Interviewer: How are your friends?

Sammy: They're good, I guess. *small smile*

Interviewer: In what ways have they changed?

Sammy: Well, Zoe and Charlie are closer, and Alex is becoming stronger and is mastering her fire powers better as well. Zoe has been hanging out with her siblings or Charlie most of the time, and Charlie has gotten better at not getting into situations that he could end up dying. Michael is more creepier than before. He can read your thoughts and literally change your emotions.

Interviewer: Wow. *grins* How has your life been since Tartarus?

Sammy: Good, I guess. Tartarus really shaped all of us. Yet while what Jaz did to destroy Tartarus was effective, it also cost us. The curse that was laid on me was not pleasant. *shudders* But I forgive her, and it's in the past now.

Interviewer: You saved Olympus, Sammy, how much more do you think you can do in your lifetime?

Sammy: *shrugs* I have no idea, to be honest. Tomorrow I could be facing a monster that I can't match. But otherwise, I have no idea.

Interviewer: *eagerly leans forward* Is it true that you and Alexandra are going out?

Sammy: *blushes* Uh, yeah. I guess so. We've started dating since the end of the quest.

Interviewer: *grins* That's good. You know everyone ships Salex, right?

Sammy: Uh... what?

Interviewer: Never mind. Anyway, how're Emily and Maria doing?

Sammy: They're good. Still troublemakers, but good.

Interviewer: Well, that's all we have time for. Thank you, Sammy, for answering the questions.
