It took a few more days, but Rick and the group finally are standing outside the Alexandria Gates. Everyone is nervous, but Rick knows deep down that Jhdith and Carl need this- besides the have a safe place with a few spare weapons just in case.

"Dad? Can...can we go in?" Carl, who's become more independant, stares at his father as the others slowly pass through the gates.

"Yeah...come on." He's more than scared, but he knows this needs to happen.

As the gates to freedom close, the group takes a deep breath, all except Daryl. He knows when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Looking down a his hand loosely dangling, he tries to feel her warmness clasped in his.

"Hop up."

"Haha what? Are you serious?" Her southern twang tickles his ears. Hunkering down, he waits for her to hop on his back after hurting her foot.

"Yeah, it's a serious piggy back. Hop up." Sighing she jumps up and he huffs out. "Yer a lot heavier than you look."

Walking toward the cemetary, he can't help but chuckle to himself.

Haha I bet I'm the first ta be 'tween her legs....stop it Dixon, she's a young girl.

"Stop..."She hops down when she notices the tombstone that says Beloved Father. Her tears slowly surface and she sniffs them back as she remembers her father. Sighing, Daryl finds some flowers a few feet away and places them on the headstone. Standing beside her they just stare at the stone, soon she grabs his hand and rests her head on his shoulder.

I...I kinda like holding her hand...

"Come on..." He scoops her up and carries her up to the white house at the top of the hill.

"Daryl? What do you think so far?" Deanna asks him as he gazes out the window.

"Doesn't matter." He grumbles.

"I assure you it does. Do you wanna stay here?" He shrugs his shoulders and sets a book down that he picked up.

"What are you fighting?" His gaze shifts to the ground and the thought of being on video doesnt calm him a bit.

"I ain't fighting..."

"You are... it's been about a week since you arrived. You refuse to sleep in the nice house we've placed you in- you stay out almost passed curfew, and nobody seems to be able to talk to you. Your group is concerned and the town is too. We don't know if we should trust this behavior or..." Standing straight, Daryl looks at Deanna with a stern face.

"Or send me away?"

"Well, yes. You see everyone has a job and I don't know how to place you." Maggie walks in and Deanna pauses, noticing Daryl's almost pitiful look. When Maggie leaves, Deanna sighs. "Why don't you tell me abit about your relationship with Ms. Rhee."

"Maggie? Ain't nothin' but friends."

"Well I don't doubt that, but you seem as if you wronged her or something of thay sort." Sitting down, he feels the need to vent, just a little.

"This stays 'tween us? No camera?"

"No, I'm afraid the camera has to stay on." Sighing, Daryl doesn't want to talk about her with a camera in his face. "Some other time then. I'll need a new tape anyway. Your free to go."

Getting up to leave, Daryl really needed to vent to someone.' Deanna can almost feel his pain.

"Daryl... Why don't you come back tomorrow? We can talk then." He slightly smiles before noddinv his head and leaving.

I want closure... I just want closure.
