Rain&Trees

When I was a kid, and it'd rain outside, I'd look out my window at the rain and the trees. And I thought of how some people are just like rain, and how some people are just like trees, because you see some people are like rain and after a while they dry up and sink into the earth, leaving you. But some people, are like trees where they stay and grow with you, and never leave. And so as I sat there thinking of these people who were like rain and trees I asked myself the question, if I was one, which one would I be? And since there was no one around to ask and give me an answer, and since it was up to me, I decided for myself. I decided that if it was up to me, well I'd, I'd be a tree.
