Misty Morning Air (Based on a walk I once took in the mountains)

I close my eyes and breathe in the misty morning air. The water tickles my face and tingles my senses. The wind hitting the leaves sounds like applause from a crowd. I stare at the sky and pinpoint single raindrops as they fall from the clouds, some hitting the trees, some hitting the ground, some hitting my face, and some dropping right into my eyes. Playful screams are heard from a distance, but all I do is breathe, look up, and watch. I tilt my head so far back that I feel like I'm going to fall to the ground, but I keep my balance, and I keep my gaze. My hair becomes soaked with frozen droplets, my clothes as well. But I am never cold, just calm. I breathe, I breathe. I breathe in the misty morning air and I forget everything, everything except for the forest, and the sound of it's excessive amount of
life.
